Thx Chickie. I hope so

I emailed kingston yesterday to ask if they received my husbands passport and documents requested and if they need anything further, they replied today with a short answer "documents have been received and the application is at the final stage". That means my husband aint getting nothing today :( :( :(. I was hoping they would say passport has been shipped. :(

Hip Hip Hooray! Question how come you weren't sleeping? lol!

good afternoon family

I have a question to the experts on all things Jamaican (maddants this is especially going out to you)

so here is my question ..... when i go to Jamaica in May hubby and I want to rent a car ...the thing is neither of us have a valid drivers license and his dad would be the primary driver ..... so anyways every car rental place i see online is saying you need a valid drivers licence and credit card in the primary drivers name... anyone know of a place in Jamaica (Kingston area) where we can rent a car at a decent rate paying good old cash.....? obtw want to keep it under 1000$ Canadian dollars including insurance .....please and thanks

I can call you later with a number, they don't take a credit card you pay cash up front. They are in Black River. Budget will take a cash deposit if you dont have a credit card.

Hey Ready!! Am not an expert LOL - but my friend and I rented a car on a couple of occasions (car rental is in Mobay though) and even though we wanted to pay cash, they still wanted a credit card to hold the deposit. When we returned the car then we paid cash....

I have a family member who used to be a detective who rents good cars, I believe in that price range. He's in Runaway Bay but can arrange transport from the airport to pick you up, of course at an additional fee. Let me know if you're interested and I can get the information for you.
