Chickie's right, you're actually lucky if your status is kept up-to-date with your file. Ours has said In Process now since the file got transferred to Jamaica back in Oct 2011. Since then we've received AOR, Request for 2nd Medical and nothing has changed. Hang in there don't and keep checking it just in case. We're here to help you out through this, you are not alone. I remember when I first came to the forum i was so touched by the support and knowledge here. Time will pass and soon your hubby will be with you.

cant take credit really ....but think God just did me a favor.....lol

went down on a reg and just paced myself...in between harassed kingston.......with faxes, emails, case specifics, etc....then got my mp to do it for me on one or 2 occasions i believe...but to cope i always set a goals / visits to look forward too...knowing that one way or the either my day would eventually come...


in the back of my mind i kept saying oh go NO please not 16 months please.........some nights id bawl wondering if my husband would end up on a RIP button, before he'd ever end up here........


i think God just put him through for many reasons, ...and to also help me cope with other sadness i been hving to face...and also was just before xmas when he came........which was im telling u PERFECT TIMING................


we dont know why.........things dont always go our way...........but God's timing is ALWAYS perfect.

Somehow I missed this post Anada. So true so many of the things you're saying, Jamaica is a tough environment and thank God your hubby came and all is going so well for both of you. Keep your chins high and I wish you a lifetime of happiness and nuff love.

an FBI is about 3 months, caribbean countries are from 3 to 6 months, sometimes i think it depends on how much crime there is in a country.

Well another week, some great successes we celebrated, spouses have come home and now it feels like the tumbleweed is rolling along on the forum...LOL
