I am a little confused about some of the terminolgy used my CIC.
Here is my timeline.
I couriered my application to CIC on Dec 4/12 it was received on Dec 5/12.
I received email reporting that file was received, I was approved to be a sponsor on Dec 18/12 and that file will be sent to KIN office. Does Kingston email or sent letter to advise file was received?

I just checked CIC file with UIC number and it says in process on the left side and on the right it says application received Dec 5/12. Can anyone tell me what this means?
Does it mean that it is being processed in KIN or that it was processed in CAN.

Normally (and unfortunately) Kingston doesn't send an email or letter acknowledging receipt of your application. I don't know of anyone on this thread that has received one.

It means that Mississagua updated your eCAS.

tHE UCI # represents you, so that is your part of the application. The F# is your spouses part in Kingston.
