well i hope they can help you out.....i know tons of people were having problems logging in until recently but they seem to have started fixing the problem......hope that is all it is with yours.

I hope so too. I keep telling myself it is okay and everything is okay. I would hope that if there was missing information that they would request it. I keep reading that they send back incomplete applications...does this happen even after the sponsorship phase?

hey @chickie did the ARC give any problems?

OK that makes sense. sorry, just had bits and pieces in my head and was trying to be hopeful.

I think having a clear view of your timeline and being very realistic can make a huge difference in how you handle this process. Good luck to you chickie.

thank you.....i have learned now not to hope for what isn't going to come quickly......i get to f'n depressed so i set a long time line then i am better off and the ladies at the liquor store don't look at me like "you again" LMAO

I have never heard of the application getting sent back from Kingston....usually if they need more documentation then they just ask for it...>Canada pretty much checks the entire application before it goes to Kingston for that reason.

shit....i wish I was at the ARC stage then hubby would be coming home soon lol I am not even close to that yet. I don't see it being a problem, we are married....they usually try to unite loved ones, not keep them apart, but if it don't work out then Jamaica will become my new home. ;D

What do they ask for when they send a docuemt request?

no they haven't even started the RCMP check yet.....hubby hasnt heard from Kingston since the application went down there in October. :(

well i would think once they start processing your application if anything was missing then they would ask for it.....as long as you have your medicals done, your police check and everything they asked for then you should be good......they only ask for documentation if you are missing something or if they have any questions or more things need to get done like in my case they will ask for the rcmp and the ARC and quite possibly DNA tests. If you have a straight forward case then they don't normally ask for anything and the entire application goes smoothly.

Thanks FLK

My aplication felt like forever. My hubbies was a bit complucated because he was previosly in Canada and overstayed hus visa. we had applied inland and was waiting for approval for ten months. Our lawyer at the time brought my husband to the cbsa office to surrender because he said that it would be better for our inland application but it backfired because they rendered him removal ready and said he had to leave Canada. so he returned to ja in 2010 and reapplied outland in 2011.
So my outland timeline is

Sponsorship approval june 2011
File sent to KG july 2011
Ecas in process feb 2012
Additional doc req april 2012
Dna for hubby's son may 2012
Dna scheduled sept 2012
Meds redo request nov 2012
Ppr jan 2012
Kg also did rcmp check---- not sure when
So there was a few things that made my case complicated but the good news is ppr comes shortly after meds redo so your hubby should get the call very soon. Tell him keeps his phone close, also check post office and emaik....because ppr for us came to my email

Thanks for the informaton Neika. Our second medical was requested in November 2012 so I'm waiting and hoping for some good news shortly. Congrats on your progress and hope you get word of hubby getting his passport in hand shortly.

Thank you! I believe I am all worked up over nothing. I need to rest assure in God's perfect timing. I will focus on school and this midtern I have tomorrow...yikes. Everything will fall into place because by destiny is better than the dreams I have for myself Amen.

Everyone Have a great Night!

Time to study and take my mind off of this process.

Kingston please don't f*ck the dog tomorrow and do some work before your day off. Progress, updates, PPRs, waived interviews, and VISAs are the request of the day.

Cheers!

Chicky can you let me know about that print conversion thing when u know more.
I'm in same situation as you...I would love to get a jump on the RCMP checks aswell. Wish I knew all this too long ago when he was here cause we could have got them done here before he left.. smh
Looks like a long year of waiting ahead of us. But one day ...one day ...this will be over.
