Here's the letter they sent Halfmoon. And they emailed me only. They didn't send anything to my husband.

>Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background
Declaration form [IMM5669] For purposes of up-dating information. This must be received at
this office by: 04/06/2013
>Passport/Travel Document: Valid passport or travel document This must be
received at this office by: 04/06/2013
>Other: Self-addressed, pre-paid DHL, Tara or Airpak Airway Bill This must be
received at this office by: 04/06/2013

Please note :
All documents must be accompanied by English or French translations. When original documents are
requested, notarised documents are not acceptable.

The above information/documents must be received in our office within 60 days from the date of this
letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application. Please quote your complete
application number on your correspondence and address your correspondence to the High Commission,
at the address indicated below.

I was not at all expecting an email hubby had the phone glued to his ears and was checking the post office i was really surprised to see an email and he did not have any missed phone calls from the vo

i wanna get this straight everyone...........if you get an email stating that your application is "currently pending initial review" is that stage one of the application process

so can you all tell me what stage is this when it say "your file is in progress"

I'd say your file is currently being worked on and likely at the back ground checks stage. As soon as that's completed, it will go in queue for final review by the immigration officer. HOWEVER with that said, it can be any day now! lol

I know you do. Unfortunately, the majority of background checks are out of their control as that is performed by CSIS. They have to wait for that clearance before they can proceed to final review.

I'm guessing based on your timeline, it could be any day now.

DWL my letter said the exact same thing as Tin Tin except they only asked for Passport and DHL prepaid envelope

Thanks Neika. It hasn't been the norm for them to email PPR in the past which is actually a GREAT sign since many ppl fear if they get snail mail, they may miss it!

Did you ever have to redo your police certificates?

ikr but because i wasnt expecting a ppr email so it actually sat in my inbox for 2 days before i saw it, its good to know that Kingston finally coming into 21st century. meds and pcc redo was done in November

Halfmoon....jamgirl or any1...my friend is ordering the notes....$5...I never did it like that......they r asking for a file # but she has a application number I used my client ID/UCI #......its saying for her its 7 digits starting with a letter......she says if she takes out the to 00 from the application # that's 7 but she shouldn't have 2 do that......so what # does she use or how does she find her file #.....thank u in advance......

Halfmoon...when we go back to Cuba....if actually sits out in the sun with me I will faint!!!! I give him 15 mins and then he will say....oh that's enough...although he is getting awfully light.....I laugh cause he will start showing me.....look....a vein....I've never seen that before....I am getting so white......!!!!

When I recently ordered my notes, I used the number that starts with F which is indicated on the sponsor approval letter. I believe Nevaeha did the same and she received her notes just fine.

Has your baby landed as of yet? We're all waiting for the "happily ever after" story....you know how much we love stories!!!
