Congrats Royal Lolly!! I'm sitting here on pins and needles........no word as yet, and his passport was at the v/o a day before yours :-\ I'm hoping this Thursday they will mail back his passport? ??? ??? ???

Is there visa issuance day on Thursday? Or Tuesday and Thursday? Or can it be any day of the week?

Anyone know who's received visas in the past?

Hi Blessed has your hubbie checked with the post office and/or emails for further correspondence? Based on other posts on the forum and other threads, your eCAS would change to Decision Made, his address would change to your Canada address and subsequently recieve some form of communication from the VO on the outcome and next steps.

Also, keep checking the DHL tracking. Good Luck!

Yes address changed. In process Nov 23, PPR Nov 26, Passport Received by Kingston Nov 28...........so now we wait.

I had him check the post office recently, just to ensure there was nothing there for him. From what we gather from his conversation with V-Officer, his plans on what will become of his little business was questioned, he provided his answer. She said well it's all done, so make sure to send in your pp, docs, and return DHL slip.

So we have not heard word from PPR date Nov 26. I've been stalking DHL like a crazy person lol but if I knew there was a specific issuance day ...which appears based on past cases to be Thursday.....it would help to know.

Given the nature of our files updates in ecas...I would not be surprised in the least, if he receives decision made after he lands lol

Hello to all,
Sorry I'm late to the party but I just got home from the office Christmas Party.
And so much to celebrate.
My husband got a call today and was told to come in and pick up his Visa on Thursday.........

My husband and I completed the representative form with me being the representaive. (We only did this because a friend of his married an American citizen and they had a lot of probelms with the local post office in their parish when they went through the immigration process. I didn't want to go through the same thing so I wanted to be the one Kingston communicated with/sent things to). Ecas has always had my (the sponsor) address in Canada listed for my husband (the applicant). Do you think this is because I'm his representative and all communications are supposed to be mailed and/or emailed to me?

Though you are his representative, they will likely make attempts to communicate with him nonetheless.

I think they issue visas on both Tuesday andThursday. My hubby was told to go on Thursday after lunch.
