Am curious how long has it been since your hubbie has landed and what have been the biggest challenges adapting now that you all are both living together (how do I turn the french symbols off) ???

at the bottom right of your screen down by whre those tiny icons are always thre (by the clock/calander thing)... there is a TINY keyboard thing just to the left of those icons in the bottom right of the screen. Click it and change the language to English

Good afternoon.......How is everyone doing.. nice to see some new members joining this forum....I have not heard anything yet from the kingston office as yet. I just hope that they are working on everyone files and not be slacking off....i want to be in canada before christmas but the rate that they are going, it next year ting. Im just here praying to the Almighty to get us all through this dredfull process. i just want to say to my brothers and sisters her stay focus on the prizes and dont let anyone get you down.

hey what up Halfmoon.....yes we all reach the half way mark of the month which is good because everyday it get closer and closer for this long waiting to be ova. i know that they can call me any day now and that what im here waiting for..i just want to hear them say just bring in your documents to the visa office and they waive the interview. if i have to go for that, im well prepare for that day...

hey Chickie72 how you doing.....the only song i want to hear or sing is "I'll Be Home For Christmas" yes it sure would be nice for all of us papers get get finish by then.....Come on Kingston we are here waiting patently for you so give us something to cheer about.

Hey Maddants, I am good, just like you waiting patiently to hear something. Trying to keep myself busy mostly, working, I took an upgrader course for my job, so all this keeps my mind busy and not stressing myself ya know...


Heres a thought for ya.....my co-worker heard a thing on the radio yesterday that said "if you could take a year off work and get paid or work for a year at double pay, which would you choose?"

It is a hard thing to choose....i said i would take the year off with pay at least i could be in JA with hubby while not working but on the other hand the double pay would be nice and I love my job so it wouldn't be so bad....

About 3 Mondays ago I checked my ecas and saw double status on my ecas. at first it was only one line that says "Decision made/Application Received" but by Tuesday the top line disappeared leaving the bottom line that was originally there before and that same Tuesday I could no longer access ecas with my file number. only the client number works.

It seems as though you're either in process of they have finished.. Depending on what stage you are at? Can you give a little more info like when you sent your application or how long it has been transferred to Kingston?

Then maybe I or some of the others can help you more. By the way! Welcome!
