Jamgirl said:Thank you Ready! Yes, time has not been on my side... but, I WILL bring my husband home with me!! That is my focus! In the mean time, I don't mind if Kingston sends home some other husbands ; )
You certainly saved yourself some money and time. I should have known better. But after 10 years in waiting I figured she was slow cooking something juicy! Hmmm...now that Dustin Diamond book certainly sounds interesting!ready_fi_move_on said:i didn't read midnight... honestly i don't really like reading follow ups or watching sequals beacuse they are always bad and dissappointing - have not read no disrespect yet .... i will definatly have to make a trip to my local chapter's a look that one up.

I agree 200%!! If this makes any sense to you.... I am a list-making type of girl. I like to make lists of things to do and check them off as I finish. Doing things this way, allows me to easily see progress. It is when I sit idle that I get agitated... So, once I had the focus of redoing meds/pcc and getting everything sent off, there started my list. Once I became focused, it boosted my positivity and I feel good. Once all this is sent, I will begin a new list of things to pack for JA and a second list of everything I need to finish here at home because I AM BRINGING MY HUSBAND HOME WITH ME!!ready_fi_move_on said:i know its not much comfort but what gets me through is the little saying "anything in life worth having is worth working for .... nothing comes easy, the harder you work and the longer it takes the more Satisfying the reward will be

I have found the site, but what happen some time ago before i started my file, a friend of mine told me about this consultant girlfriend in ontario. In 09 she visited jamaica and my co-worker and i met with her re some work thing which she said she could get us on some job permit in canada, we gave her some money as dep and until this day she has not done a thing and we tried getting back the money from her but it no use. what i did was file a complaint to the csic office which she was member at that time and she sent us back some of the money but the rest is never to be heard of

I have never read a Harlequin but I would imagine that that is a good comparison... without all the "xes" scenes, the storyline is very, very weak. The writer had an opportunity to do good things with it, but failed lol. I know people that read the book a year ago before all the hype. I think some lonely people read the book one day and hyped about it and it just carried on from there. If you have read good books, then you will probably feel the same... but if you are a light reader then maybe you will enjoy it. Just my theory...CharlieD10 said:Hmm. I keep hearing the writing on the 50 Shades books is nothing to (pardon the pun) "write home about". That is interesting, considering how fast it sold and that it is STILL at the top of Amazon's bestseller list, both in print and e-book! I am horribly critical of writing, since I spend so much time reading, and I confess to being quite a Grammar Nazi. I still read the occasional romance, but honestly because the stories are so predictable I drifted over to fantasy and murder/mystery/suspense books, because at least then something changes. If all it is, as KJG calls it, is an amped up Harlequin, I guess I am not losing anything not having read them. I read a lot of those once upon a time, LOL.
Hoping all goes well, Jamgirl!
Jamgirl...that is a great description......it is good for a light read....but I surely would not have told my friends to go out and buy this set....glad I only borrowed it....I would have been upset at the waste of $$$$Jamgirl said:I have never read a Harlequin but I would imagine that that is a good comparison... without all the "xes" scenes, the storyline is very, very weak.
