I couldn't do the Air Canada cause that goes into Montego Bay only. I gotta go into Kingston.
Bought my ticket this morning, july 13th afternoon flight and july 23rd morning flight. stupid tickets went up 60 bucks from last week. got it for 621 taxes included.

Hi everyone,
Haven't been on in a bit and I am so happy to see the progress for everyone. Kingston is hard at work. I'm still waiting for the RCMP to be completed. Just reached the 2 month mark. I'll be in Jamaica next week and returning Aug 18. Can't wait for Independence, I know its gonna be nice.

Good morning Forum Fam,
thank you all for the welcome to Btown. Not sure why it took me so long to leave montreal... In any case i'm loving and enjoying my new life .. Just need hubby here now to complete it all... soon soon soon.. I can feel it ;D ;D

Well I'll be heading down to Jamaica for 4 days for my grandma's burial :'( :'(. She passed at 94 years old and was such a funny old lady.. ahh granny.. missin u like crazy ... The ticket was crazy expensive but for granny I would have paid any amount. If all goes well and hubby gets his PP(kingston don't mess with me, cause uno seh this week for sure, so me no inna no foolishness with uno dis time) he'll be coming up with me.. whooiiieee

Hmmmm havent really heard from the oldies them lately.. I wonder how they are all doing? it would be nice to get a little update from them and there new life ;D ;D

Condolences on your loss, BIYTC. I really do hope KG gives hubby his passport back so he can return with you, it would be bittersweet, but so good for you to have him reunited to you at this time!

Being back home sucks wish I could board da plane and head back to ja ... Congrats on sponsor approval! Now it is time to wait on Kingston. Some have only had to wait 2-3 months for movement from Kingston, others, like myself, are waiting 6+ months. I am not trying to discourage you, just trying to give you the reality. You have found your way to a good group of people here. They are all full of information and smiles. We are a family and try our best to encourage eachother. Feel free to ask as many questions as you need and we all will try our best to answer them for you. I am the spreadsheet updater for the time being so I will add you on my next post. In the meantime, try and keep yourself busy and make some friends in here ;D

I was busy all weekend with a wedding... it turned out great! I was MOH and the bride and I did all the work from decorations, to dresses to wedding cake. I must say I did good but I don't think I want to do it again lol. Happy First Canada day to Charlie and all the new arrivals! I think we had a landing last week???? I will have to look back and update with Halfmoon's addition. OH and why the late post you ask? yes back to dreaded night shifts ugh!

Thanks Jamgirl - really appreciate your kind words. Ecas updated that the medical results have been received also. Would you know what happens after that? also, how do i add my timelines/updates on the left hand side under my user name? As for yours going on 6months, just means that you're getting really close and it's any day you'll get a call i'm sure

no problem Halfmoon.... I was approved as sponsor on Dec 22 and the same day I had meds rec'd.... then on Jan 5 they added my address to my e-cas. I have heard nothing until a month ago when they added hubby's address. Everyone is different though. Nobody can predict Kingston with 100% accuracy unfortunately. Google "e-cas tracker" , it will allow you to sign up for an update reminder. Basically, anytime your ecas changes or is updated, you will recieve an email. and if you havent figured it out by now... when you enter your file number into ecas and use your spouses birthdate and details, it will show you a screen for his side of e-cas. It is the same as yours but without the sponsor details. You can use e-cas tracker to send email updates to your account for his login as well. Try not to focus on the time, WAY easier said than done!! lol. we all take turns havin our breakdowns in here but the best part is everyone here is very supportive and caring. You are in good hands!

Oh and after you have posted 10 times, you are able to add your details in the left margin as you see everyone else has, and you will also have use of your inbox. for now, you can receive messages but not send until the 10 posts are made
