Hey everyone, I see that they changed the time again. Since we all are over the 82 day wait, can we start calling to find out the status or will that just make things worse? Has anyone had any luck calling recently?

Basically they will tell you when you call that the 82 day period is an approximation and that they are working on Feb 29th applicants and don't call back until your date that they received the application is posted...so if they received yours on March 23rd....they will tell you to call back when that date has been posted or past.....I am calling tomorrow again because I was Feb 28th so it will be interesting to see what they say now.....usually they just say we aren't currently working on those applications....... :(

Please keep me posted when you call back. I don't think they should have 2 different times. It's either 82 days or february 29 th.. Not either or. If its 82 days then have the right date.. If its feb 29th then have the right days that way ppl know when they can start inquiring...

Either way it seems that I can't call as I live outside Canada and the number only works inside Canada.. That sucks :-(

yes i will post tomorrow after my call for sure...and you are right......the either/or is of course to their advantage and only works for them.......there should be a number you can call from outside of Canada....when I call tomorrow I will ask and let you know the response

thanks Mrslwsn...what if the overpayments were from about August of last year? Is that a good enough time frame from now?
No, that will show up as having received some sort of assistance on the 2011 tax assessment, so yea that's not good and can be viewed as being in receipt of assistance. Way around it is to get a letter saying the person is no longer on welfare since xxx date. They usually issue on when u get off assistance. To be 100% certain its best to b off assistance for a full TAX year so the tax paper u submit is free of welfare income.

hey all

does anyone know the maiiling address to order GCMS notes

here's the link
