Is the address suppose to change once application is in Process?

To the forum Fam who's application went in PROCESS recently did the address change in ecas?

I'm just wondering.

BLING ( I think it was Bling) what's the update on your file?

SUKI did yours change? I think our time frame is a bit simular.

Another Thing

Forum Fam all of my family member did not meet my husbad until after I filed.
Do you think I should send Kingston my recent family travel doucuments and pictures of all of us? or should I wait until they ask of if they ask? I just feel a bit worried they will question the fact my family didn't physically meet my husband or son until after.

Even though I did explain the situation for the reason on my application. And that the rest of my family would meet him physically at a later date.

Do you think I should send them?

Good morning!

Hey kym! To answer your question, my Jamaican address was corrected, but not changed when my file went to in process. They had me as living at 6-8 Streetname instead of 6 Streetname Apt 8. The envelope that came was correctly addressed, with the same address that now appears on my eCAS.

I think an update with photos of your husband with your family is a good idea. We submitted pictures from my husband's visits after the application was submitted because he met additional friends and family on those visits.

Kym, my hubbies address disappeared on Jan 27 and his ECAS was updated to in Process on Feb 6th..his address is still gone, so not sure what that means?

it will be 4 weeks on Monday that his status has changed to in process, it sure would be great for him to get that PPR Call, and bring him home with me when I leave JA on the 26th!!

If not my best friend Carla, the sweetest woman that was my maid of honour at our wedding will be travelling to Negril with her family, she loved it so much she is bringing her daughter and 2 girls to Negril in April, maybe he will be able to come home with them.

Question?? Are those type of updates needed while app is in progress??? I mean should I be thinking about putting in any pics we have since we filed??? Such as if I go down in easter or anytime later on?? I hope not cuz honestly I am tired of the paparazzi, we are just 2 normal j'cans, and we dont do all those activities where there are photo ops, and most of my family is in ja, I have a couple fam members/friends who flew down for either my wedding or just happen to come down while I am there, but god knows, I am tired of it all. I find it awkward to pull out my camera when we are just doing normal stuff so that we have loads of pics...I am really hoping the truth speaks for itself, cuz this is all beginning to annoy me. I had no clue you update immigration unless they ask! *stress*

Relax, Mrslwsn. No need to stress things! Whether you choose to update KG depends on your unique situation.

In kym's case, she actually brought up and explained why her husband had not met certain family members yet, and stated there were plans to have this happen later on. To update them that this stated intention has been followed through with is a useful way of continuing to denote the genuineness of her relationship. It goes to the fact that they make plans for the future and follow through on them.

In my case, I followed up with additional information because of my own circumstances. We met in an unusual way (for a Jamaican) and our relationship developed quickly to the point of marriage (less than 2 years). I sent in additional pictures and information because it was important to me that we address these potential "red flags" before KG could use these things as a reason for asking for an interview etc.

If you are an established couple, if you frequently spend time together, and provided a solid basis for your application in the documents submitted upfront, there may be no need for you to send additional supports. It's about evaluating your circumstances, the information submitted in your application and your ongoing activities and deciding whether it may be useful to provide additional proofs.

when i first signed in to ecas there use to be my address above my side and my address above my husbands side his has been gone for some months now and mine is still there is this the disappearin address that everyone is talking about

Think so, icesfluffy! Never happened to me, so I can't speak to it. Mine has always been there, only it was wrong and now it's corrected.

LOL, good morning everyone! It's a fine morning, and it is March! The year is "marching" along, come on KG, move with the beat! Let's get some more families home together for the end of winter! NNNEEEXXXXTTTT!!!

By the way, if you are interested in planetary and stellar phenomenon, March is going to be a great month for it, as 5 planets will be visible in the March skies as the month goes on! Tonight is a great opportunity to view Mars, which will be just above the horizon shortly after sunset today. Venus, Saturn and Jupiter will be visible as very bright "stars", look for them in a line with the moon in the early part of the evening. Mercury will also be visible in the eastern skies. Get out there and marvel at the vastness of our universe!

thanks for sharing about march charlie, i will certainly try to see if i can see any of the planets this month.

question, my ecase changed to in process last week but when i click on it the info inside is still the same as before and it does not include the date that they started to process it. does anyone have any experience with this or know why this might be happening.

Neika, Ecas is unpredictable-Like our Calgary weather...I would take "In Process" as a good sign!!
