Good morning forum!!!

Suki- I have the same problem lol ppl must think I'm beyond hyper all the time lol

Come on kgn updaaaaaaaates!!!!!!

jaylove, as you have already been issued your visa your landing interveiw is mostly a formality. They will ask your your mailing address to confirm where they are sending your PR card, where you will live, ask if someone is meeting you and may phone them to confirm. Once your paper work is complete they send you over to a second counter where they give you a Welcome to Canada package and your on your way to meet the family, followed closely there after by a trip to the nearest lounge to celebrate. Extremly painless so stress not

Just lovely canuck, i look forward to that day, when i step through those doors again, lol
Thanks guys

i ask my immigration lawyer to do a check to see whats up with my application, hes saing i should wait.but from the past month i notice he only want money and not doing nothing.question what should i do? send immigration an email myself?

Well someone called asking professionally for my husband this morning...and his phone died or something...so he called the number back and some female answered saying she would call him back. And he missed the call before that one which was an unknown number. He said it sounded like the Immigration officer that called him the first time. So we are crossing our fingers that she is calling to tell us our leaving date and that our passports are in the mail. Would be nice lol!!

Not getting my hopes up though. And witty...my goodness...that is a long freaking time to wait!! I hope yours comes through..thats insane!!

hey witty, have patience mi fren, you"re winding down to the final strokes. My imm consult told me the same thing and I choose to wait and heard back a month later. Not much he can do for you now as you've had your interview. The good news may be that if you failed the interview you would likely have heard by now as it is almost 7 weeks since you had it. Typically they move on to your background checks if the interview went well and that can take 2-3 months depending on how many countries you lived for greater than 6 months. Be patient and the best of luck to you

thanks canuck0469,but i have visit usa this year for 3months and i work in canada for 2years.

jahlove - no worries, like canuck and charlie said, it's easy. My husband arrived in Toronto at Pearson. he said they didn't ask him much, just confirmed his address, he read his COPR to make sure the info was correct (this paper will be used as your PR card until you get one in the mail), they asked what he was bringing with him (any food, alcohol etc and how much) then gave him a little bag and said welcome to Canada. It's nothing to worry yourself about.

hello everybody! Glad to hear the good news Jahlove hooray! It always feels like ur one step closer when someone gets through. It looks like I'm going to be on the back, back end for applications for 2011...oh well, God knows! I had some delays along the way and it took me some time to find info. requested (gotta get my paper work more organized lol) I am somewhat of a perfectionist too and I'm trying to cover every inch and corner to make everything as clear as day for them. I had a question tho- on the IMM5540 sponsor questionnaire on the last pg after ur signature it reads "on a seperate sheet of paper, provide any additional details of your current relationship...to prove your relationship is genuine and continuing" is this where u guys included supporting documents like airline tickets showing visits, wedding stuff, supporting letters etc.? What are some other things that can be used to provr relationship is "genuine"
