Hey proper things like that happened on mine then a while later we got ppr then they changed our status to meds rec n a decision has been made let's hope this is the case

Omg kuma I hope so, we haven't gotten no email from the tracker since april 8th!! So this scared the bejesus out of me lol
I'm really hoping that the doctor sending the info is what made this happen. **fingers crossed** hopefully its not some glitch

I would love if Charlie could have the opportunity to work for immigration canada... I think she is knowledgeable and understand the process as she is going through it herself so I am sure she would make sure that everyone file gets treated with care

Finally got in, I couldn't log in for the longest while!

Mrs P, I gotta say, I was afraid of something like this. I thought it was very strange, even for POS POS, that you would be waiting almost 4 months for them to update a partial medical. I also thought it was too convenient that the doctor supposedly has a copy of your results that she is *just now* offering to send off, when you have been inquiring about it for months now. And further, for her to say she never received a tracking number from DHL had to be pure BS. A strong complain letter, copied to the world and his wife, up to and including whomever is in charge of the selection of designated medical practitioners is necessitated.

Thank you for the nominations, haha! I have to agree with lonely_wife, most of the IOs handling our files know nothing about immigrating personally, they know rules and regulations, so if they were hiring people who actually migrated, perhaps their might be some more personality to the service received at KG. Come on, young people, sponsors and sponsored, y'all need to think about qualifying for government service and going into CIC!

I see we have another change to eCAS, going back to what it used to be! Get it together, CIC!

Yup charlie my ecas changed back last week so to get something from ecas right now was weird!! Not getting my hopes up but would be nice to hear something positive for once.
Trust me when all of this is done complaints will be made and this woman will never get this job title again! I've been telling mr proper from day one something not right about this doctor and that I feel she dint send anything! And we got the proof today!!! So mad

Good morning forum!! I hope everyone is having a good tuesday so far.

Well I got a call this morning regarding my caips notes. Not sure I really understand what she meant. She said she's waiting for KGN for the visa form and ofcourse the medical info, which is no big shocker. Said I will receive the info NOVEMBER 17!!!!!! Is it jus me or is my file/case very diff from others? Lol why is everything so strange for us. We have done everything right yet nothing seems to go our way. Sometimes I sit her and wonder if a lawyer woulda been a good choice for us. Makes me think we wouldn't be going thro all of this right now. Its seems like if its not one thing its another! I've prayed, mr proper has prayed and everyone we know have prayed for some good news and yet nothing. I'm really hoping we hear some positive news soon!!!

Its been to quiet in this forum, isn't kgn summer break over with?!?! Come on KGN wake up and reunite some families!!!!!

Helloo.. its me again.. of course with more questions..... Im now finally in the process of filling out my papers.. My questions are..

-On the applicant forms it states that everyone in his family whether they will be joining him in canada or not are req to do a medical and criminal record check? is this new??

-How many pictures exactly does he need to include for his part of the application?

-For the "proof" pictures do you send actual pictures or copies?

-I know ive asked before but when sponsoring a spouse your income is not taken into consideration, unless its very low.. what is considered low? I support myself and one child and make $40,000. Is that satisfactory?

- Any extras ideas to add for proof?? I have phone bills, texts, emails, pictures, letters from community people in JA, passport printout (only of last 3 years, been going for 8yrs ) wedding cards, speaches from wedding.

Mrs. Proper...trust me a lawyer would make no difference! We have one and are pretty much in the same boat as you and the Mr. POS has had our file since November 1st. Still waiting after a medical redo as well. Trust me I know the frustration as Im sure others do as well after such a long wait. Wish you and everyone the best of luck

Yer right can4vincy jus very frustrating. We are one of I think 3 left on the 2010 list and its exciting to see ppl get thro but depressing as well, kinda bitter sweet. So it goes I guess. We will jus have to wait hopefully not much longer until we hear something. How long after yer meds expired did you get the redo form in the mail?

Our form was dated May 5 from POS...but because of our postal strike at the time it didnt reach the lawyers office in Canada until July 20. Hubby got it done and it was sent to POS August 24th.

Im really hoping its soon...it took 6 weeks from the interview to get the med request and now its been 7 weeks they've got it. Sooo I keep telling myself it'll be any day. Its weird you look back on the time thats past and think ok we did it and we're ok but then realize how hard it get looking towards everyday in the future you'll wait.
