BUT, after all this foolish meds got lost in the mail crap........I went to see hubby( Jamrock soothed my soul) got his med redo and our daughter and just sent out pkg today-rush.
So hopefully cuz I had an immi offcier assigned I wont' wait too too long.

LSSO - the good news is that 17 months puts you right at the average time for 80% of cases, which means that things should be finalized soon for you! We never know how long they are going to take with this process, and they don't make it any easier by refusing to communicate regularly, but when you get to the end, it's soon forgotten, thank heaven! Get your mind into reunion mode, start readying the house to receive your family, when things finally get sorted, you want to be on the ball!

AliCatShaw - welcome back. I was looking at the list and wondering how things went with your resubmit! I bet you're glad that's dealt with, and were happy to spend some time in JA!

Good morning everyone and T.G.I.F!!!! Woke up today to some really bad weather, its snowing and the wind is blowing fiercely. The news said there was 30 accidents in 30 mins! :S

So today I'm gonna relax and stay inside. Tomorrow I'm gonna pamper myself and go out with some friends

Wellll...belated happy holidays...hope everyone had fun and stayed safe. We have been so busy its insane...I probably lost my mind a while back...it still hasn't come back to me.

Well today is my birthday so I managed to squeeze a few minutes to get online. Between family being here, packing up, and visiting people..insanity. And the little one asks every thirty seconds if we are leaving for Canada yet. AHHHHHHHH!!

Monday is the day...will post landing story after we get there.

Everyone here in JA stay safe during elections? Seems like it went fairly smooth...neither hubby nor I voted as I think its the same story for both parties. But hubbies uncle won his constituancy in Lindstead...and one of our good good friends won his in East Portland..both PNP...so had to be happy for them...and just glad that the holiday elections went fairly smooth and safe! Everyone else's areas stay calm?

I need to check out the updates...hoping I see good news!

Hi all, I recieved an email from CIC saying they recieved my app on Nov/24/2011..it had an UIC (unique client i.d???) and a file# but was not able to log in to e-cas using either (not surprised). It was interesting. Is that what yu guys call an AOR??

Hey Mrslwsn! No, an AOR comes from the visa office, KG, not from CPC-M. CPC-M has now begun the practice of confirming receipt of application packages to SOME clients, they still haven't gotten to all of them yet. When a decision has been made on your eligibility to sponsor, you will be able to log into eCAS, so don't worry about that yet. Keep your UCI handy, that will be the sponsor's client ID, and will enable you to see all the information for both sponsor and applicant when the application reaches KG.

Smoothie we are all looking forward to your landing story!! Just think you get to show your daughter how to make snow angels and snowmen and all the little things we Canadians take for granted but to a child will be nothing short of amazing...

We got some bad news today regarding bringing our dog. Unfortunately we will have to wait until the spring to bring him to Canada as they do not allow dogs as carry ons on flights from Jamaica and the cargo area is not heated so there is no way he can come until warmer weather .

Still waiting DHL does not have our package yet ugh...
