Mr & Mrs Proper, I am so glad to hear!!! Congrats x 1 million! How exciting for you guys! Well what a sigh of relief!!! Blessings to you both...

@ Danielle, Myself I am not sure as we arent using one, but I am sure the more experienced peeps will answer that for yu! best of luck!

Ohh.. and also on form IMM-1344 - Application To Sponsor - Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking - they ask for the "signature of sponsored person... do i need it? How am i to get it. Not planning to go to JA until Feb - AT LEAST!

Yea mi as well, you will have to do what I did...mail the papers he has to sign to him and have him mail it back...There is more than that one he will have to sign...there is a few...I sent it in a legal size envelope (brown ones) and it cost me $18.05 to send it registered and it will arrive 7-10 business days...In return he can send yu back those papers signed, plus his medical and police clearance. If he send it by EMS...it costs about $1500.00 JMD to send to canada arrives in about 4 days...or so my friend at the post office tell mi :)

I have heard that there are SPECIAL dr's you have to use for the medical. Where do i get the list?
I didnt know that i had to send everything in so soon. Thought it could be sent in Piece piece?
ALSO it asks me since when i have been living in Canada! (form IMM-5540, question #11)Do i put my birth date?

Thanks Danielle.

you cannot send it in piece piece...the application has to be complete or they will send it back..You can only go to DMP's (designated medical practitioners) specified by Immigration... the link to the list for Jamaica is here...

LOL Mrs Proper.....thats quite clever of him LOL!! Way to shock you!!

How many months was it total??

We are like six or seven months now...time flies. I keep wondering how long it will take...not one single update.

I wonder if sending in the form for my daughter will refocus them on our file???

Thanks everyone!!! :D

SQ- we sent our app off nov 2010 so its been 11 mths total. Woulda been a lot sooner if that doctor in mobay dint give the run around with his med redo.he would been here a few mths now I think but yer getting close. And don't worry about not getting any updates, we never got anything!!!! It can be very frustrating but sometimes no news is good news right. When did he do his medical?
