Thanks nae-nae, yes my son had his tonsils and adnoids out not long ago too and it was so hard to watch him in pain. I think she will end up having to get hers removed as well :S the night was really rough with her waking up almost every hour crying in pain. She isn't feeling well this morning, cough, fever and she threw up :S looks like another long day ahead of me hopefully some good news will come like a ppr to brighten my day

Ahh Mrs Proper....thats not fun with the lil one. Sorry to hear that. My lil one is having tonsil trouble right now to...and we realize they need to soon come out. So i'm attempting to hold off until we get to Canada. A lil more faith in the medical system!

Thanks CharlieD....I just have a hard time with the idea of my little one having to have anything surgical done to her period...especially not in JA! They are going down right now and her fever is under control....so she will soon be fine until her next bout!! Sucks to see lil ones go through pain...and to have to put them through any painful proceedures. So I feel for Mrs. Proper...and hope I can wait till Canada to have to put my lil munchkin through that!!

Anybody get any good news today?? I could use some to remind me Kingston still exists!!

Hi Everyone

It's been a while....... I'm happy for all who have been reunited with their families and pray for those who are still waiting in line. As for me, everything is going great so far. My daughter still can't get enough of her dad.... Hubby settled in quite well, he started school this September, a little strange for him but he's adapting quite well. Thanks again for all the support and I'll keep in touch. :-* :-* :-* :-*

Congrats to hubby on heading off to school, really nice to see a spouse making the most of opportunities to grow personally and professionally! Hubby took the passport up while I went to the airport sorry to hear that ppl r going through such rough times right now; with the loss of loved ones, being apart from loved ones, illnesses and whatever the case may be. Good morning mi family, sorry to hear about the illnesses in the families, hope the little ones get better soon. Been a pretty quiet week again on here, KG needs to get thier sense of humour back. They used to enjoy sending our loved ones during the cold months, anticipating they will freeze thier asses off.

Good morning everyone, thanks for the well wishes for my lil one. She had surgery and its been a rough few days because she ended up getting sick in the process of it. So now I'm tryna take care of a sick lil girl and throw my son a bday party tonight on top of getting no sleep lol

I called the MP back yesterday because its been a week since they have tlkd to POS. Still no word ofcourse, I wasn't expecting her to give me good news. I don't think I expect to hear anything good from them. Looks like they lost it and a med redo will have to be done. I'm jus so disgusted with all of this. Mr propers IO called him over a mth ago about the meds and hasn't done nothing since. Seems like KGN and POS slacking really bad. I jus want all of this to be over with already

Thankful for the forum today. This process is so scary with all the unknown and in a way it makes me feel like I know a hint of whats going to come on here get support, advice, see others journeys and get insight in ways to handle my own. Its frusterating waiting....I keep wondering what the next step will be since we get no updates from Kingston. Will they loose our meds to? How much stuff will we have to redo? How much longer is our wait? Today I'm feeling a little crazy about all this. If it was just my husband...I could hang in there...but I want my daughter to start first grade in Canada, and I know shes gonna soon need medical attention for her constant tonsil flare ups and I don't want to rely on Jamaica. She struggles with Allergies and I remember people occasionally dying from anasthetic allergies when I worked in nursing...and since there is no way I know of to test for anything like that in Jamaica..I'm scared to death to have anything medical done on her until Canada. So this waiting game is actually starting to affect me in ways I never expected because I was for the most part content to wait because I'm with my husband.

@ Smoothies, hang in there girl! I can imagine your anxiety..I havent even sent in our app yet and anxiety ah kill mi.. :'( but everything has to work out right?..take a deep breath..today my husband is at the place in mobay to do his police clearance, he has called me a few times complaining about the long wait time, then I just spoke to the woman there who was trying to find out who it needs to be addressed to..lol I dunno why these things so complicated kmt...but after all the foolinesh is over it will be so worth it...I bet you soon get an update I have my fingers crossed and you guys all are in my prayer. ;D
