congrats toronto! How long did it take for him to get passpport back?

I wish my husband would get the call to pickup passport today and he could come home on Friday...flights have been going up in prices all week but Friday is still cheap!!!

I use to talk to a girl who was sponsoring her husband through POS, it is real tough going through that embassy... we complain about the KG embassy but POS is even worse.... hope you get a break a long the way!

Well family.... looks like KG is responding to some emails which is suprising and wonderful.... they are getting back quickly and they seem to give some information which is great... looks like you ladies told them strait....

kc, the lawyer sent it off the CIC-M on Monday, Feb 1. They felt we had everything we needed and more. Biggest issue will be the age but lots of proff was sent

Hey I am looking into a vacation in the US with my husband and looking for info on him getting into the states I came across this info:

If we want to visit the United States will a Landed immigrant in Canada who has a Jamaican Passport need a visa to the US ?
No. Jamaica is under a visa waiver program with the United States and therefore persons holding a Jamaican passport do not need to apply for a visa before traveling to the United States.

I was under the impression he would need a travelers visa to go... does anyone have any info on this?

I am pretty positive that Jamaican passport holder and a Pr of canada will have to apply for a visa to the US....

I know different People with there PR who have to apply for a visa to enter US....

Peni - Caracau... whoa... good for you! We just got back Mexico and we are dying to go away again but true hubby just told me that the welding school he wants to go to is 10 G's! But after him do it he will be certified in three different type of welding and have a diploma... so no more vacations other than JA for us for a while! Enjoy and have a few rum punches for me please!
