been hopeful for an update for a while now. med redo an po po bkground check done at end of may 2011 and nothing. nothing at all. ja has had our papers for 1 yr now. hope someones day is brighter than mine. best of luck to all waiting!

I hear yuh Kuma we did the meds in middle of may our bf date was 3 weeks ago and still nothing. Mr proper is really down these days as you can tell since he hasn't been on in a while. I'm tryna stay strong for him but some days are so hard, some days I jus wanna cry my eyes out! I dunno why we haven't heard anything. I have sent emails and no response. This process is jus so frustrating kuma hopefully before the week is over we hear some good news

When we're done, he said, then we wipe them away and keep pushing on. They can only delay your reunion, they can't keep it from happening. It gets closer with each day that passes, not further away. Mrs. P- if it's within the guidelines they give you they won't get back to you, i don't know where you life call your MP's office and they can send a request in i did that today and i should hear somthing by friday if not i am to call them bak. worth a shot!

Well I sent them an email just asking if they have received the medical or not. I hate not knowing if its reached trinidad and wondering if the doc sent it. My mind goes crazy!

Hang in there proper's !!!!i went to my MP office today, she was a tad hesitant to send in a request because of our time lines but i expressed how we have not received an AOR in our 90 days and that our med's would soon expire.. i was not gonna take no for an answer! she was like.. humm u know ur stuff! She said time line was 17 months for jamaica... i was like in your world.. in mine they can be a little as 7.. so lets stir it up! lol Hope this wrks! lol

If your sponsorship is already processed, and you have already received the letter from CPC-M, note that as soon as the completed application is received from CPC-M, a file will be created in our office and the permanent residence applicant will receive an Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR) letter from this visa office. This letter, which provides processing time frames and explains how to enquire about your case, is only sent once the application is fully completed.



We would greatly appreciate that you wait until the appropriate AOR letter is issued and sent to you. Thank you for your co-operation.



For future reference, in all correspondence to our office, please refer to the applicant's full name, date of birth and file number.

An AOR? They've had your file since Feb! They should be looking to issue your husband's visa now, what are they talking about, AOR is only sent once the application is fully completed? Fully completed what? Being put on the system? KG has really lost the plot. No wonder it is taking them 17 months to process an application if they are telling someone whose file they have had for 6 MONTHS to wait for an AOR!

Here's something interesting from the audit of KG's practices. The audit team commented that quite often communication with clients was missing from CAIPS notes. Here is KG's response:

Mission management team has raised the different issues with the people concerned.

In March 2010, we proceeded to conduct a QA activity with the goal of verifying whether the use of AORs was occurring as per policy. The review was done on 50 family class (FC) files received between May and December 2009 and it found that all files were compliant.

I want to know which 50 files they checked, because so far this year, NONE of us whose files have been received at KG received AORs, and of the 2010 cases, I can only remember 3 or 4 people mentioning receiving them. In one case (Nae-nae), they got their AOR two months before PPR.

KG can be such rubbish some times!

Yea cuz we sent our papers nov 2010 and haven't received an AOR, I sent another case specific inquiry, prob won't make a diff tho

??Question he got his police record done and they said to drop that off with his PP and original documents, do they have to verify police check like send it anywhere else or they will just issue his visa after he drops everything off???

Oh boy!!! Irving... I think they are lost over there... its obvious to me that they don't know what the hell they are doing.... let's hope that hubby gets the call soon... I am keeping you in my thoughts

Lonely_wifey... from my knowledge the police record does not go anywhere once he drops it off... Did he receive the documents you send him?? did he get his police record already??
