Thanks HighlyFavoured, proper and lonely_wife and congrats on your good news.

Congratulations Kimore !! I agree with you , they must have seen each other..lol

My eCAS has been showing complete from Sunday...

Congrats Butterfly10!

Lonely_wife, girl , I am still working on the space for my hubby...lol. As for the flight , early next week but the one way fares from Kingston are ridiculous. I am still searching.....

Congrats Kimore, suga and butterfly!!!! Time to book those tickets :)

Lonely, let us know what the CAPIS notes say... I'm curious if they logged the "missing medicals" or if they're just brushing the slackness under the carpet?

Ebony, she's a great gal... Very standup person :)

HighlyFavoured: hows life treating you????

JahBEE: Welcome! I think lonley_wife is right, your package that you sent will require an Option C printout. That was on the checklist whether there were children involved or not. I would order that right away and either send it off right away or wait til it's requested. My only concern would be Canada will see your package as incomplete and send it back which adds more time. You might want to ask the call centre. I did not send originals either and from the looks of things sometimes they are requested and some times they aren't but Canada will not require them. That may or may not happen on the Jamaica side.

Kimore, Butterfly10 and Brownsuga: I can't imagine how you must feel today!! What a happy and productive Tuesday! I hope this pace continues! They better come back Thursday rested and ready to reunite some families!

Booooo tomorrow. :(

I know girl... I was just looking myself to kidda gimme an idea... wow they are not cheap at all... I guess the airline companies are upping the prices cause we are in springbreak time

Yay butterfly!!! Glad hubby got it today!! You must be jumping with joy!

welcome Jahbee!! the option C printout is required for the sponsorship application, if none is provided you have to give a written explanation as to why it wasn't. They may return your entire application if its missing. You should order it now, I think it takes about 7 days to get to you. The phone number to obtain that is on the Sponsorship documents checklist which can be found here

phone number is 1-800-959-8251

Chelley i will definatly let you guys know whats up with the caips... cause when I was in Jamaica I talked to my MP cause he was waiting for Ottawa to call him back before I left so I figured I would call from there... he told me that he got in contact with ottawa and from what they saw on the file there was no call made on feb. 3 to hubby and nothing about a missing medical... so thats when he said he wants me to get the caips notes which kidda p***ed me off.... but whatever its kingston I am getting used to it by now

Butterfly I thought Kingston asked your hubby to pick it up on thursday march 10 like you had stated in your previous post?

Lonely_wife - Hey lonely, hubby told me last week they called and told him to pick up his passport this Thursday and I thought to myself, "that's strange". I asked my husband why they specifically told him to pick it up on Thursday and he told me he was not quite sure and so I left it at that.
He then called me at around 3pm today and told me he had a surprise for me but would only tell me when I reached home. I was so anxious and puzzled at the same time and wanted to know what the surprise was. So as soon as I finished grocery shopping I went straight home and texted him to call. When he called I told him I was home and anxiously asked him what the surprise was (he knows that I love surprises) then he shouted "MI PICK UP MI PASSPORT TODEH AN MI A COM TO MI WIIIFFFYYYY!!" Lolololol. I laughed so hard and then started to cry and asked him why he told me Thursday and he replied "because I wanted to surprise you.

Thanks Proper :-*, Brwnsuga :-*, Chelley :-*, Lilmaya :-* and Nea-nea :-*. I just read your posts.

JahBEE: Welcome to the forum! I ordered option C printout send it along with my package and they sent it back with a letter once I was approved to sponsor my husband and step daughter. They also required a letter from my current employment and they sent that back as well. I think they will send all original documents and they review verify and photocopy prior to giving it to Kingston.

Butterfly10: Congratulations! I am so happy for you and am eager to hear the total processing time for your application as I see you have sponsored not only your husband but also your step son. I am so thankful you got throuh so quickly. Where are you living in Canada if you dont mind me asking?

I just checked my status on ecas and there has been no changes. I am hoping that more people will receive a passport call and that will make room for the up and coming immigration applications.

Go Kingston GO!

Nae Nae, how is the pregnancy coming along? and how are you and hubby doing so far? please update me. I have read past posts just wanting to say hi and let you know that I am so happy for your new life with hubby and your new bundle of joy coming soon.

Kimore: Congratulations to you and your hubby. This is so exciting thats great. HOpe your hubby canget a flight soon.

Brown sugar: Congratulations! wow Kingston is coming along fine this week with passport pick ups and calls.

Congratulations to others that I may have missed.....

Well i won't be booking any tickets anytime soon. Hubby is considering working until the end of the month, he has some loose ends he needs to finish up with, so working to the end of the month seems reasonable. So i continue to wait.........the good thing is he has the visa's. Now i have to get a new place, i am looking for a three bedroom apartment that is not in a horrible building or a townhouse to purchase that is not too far as i work in the downtown toronto area. All the townhouse in toronto are areas that i don't want to live in. Anyone with any suggestions. Also, i don't want to live in the Oshawa area if I don't have to.

butterfly wow that is a good surprise... congrats!!!

kimore... well thats good at least he has the visa and can come home anytime now... i guess this is gonna give you time to look around for a 3 bedroom!!!!

Guys, so sorry I have not been around to voice my congrats to brown-suga and Kimore and Butterfly10.

Good on you, lonely_wife for being proactive to find out what's going on with your husband's file.

It is getting ever more busy at work as March 15 looms closer and closer. Dear God, I cannot wait for it to be over.

Kimore, your husband too nice, LOL. I am resigning the day KG asks for my pp, nothing is keeping me in this job one minute longer than I need to be there. If I could find a new one right now, I would take it!

PP Canada called my hubby today, and told him his pp has cleared all security checks and they are sending it back to him, he should expect to get it in 10 days' time. I was like, 10 days?! Where is it coming from, India? ??? So, his visit has been pushed back. *Sigh*

Can-Indy-Jam- Thanks Can-Indy-Jam I live in Toronto, where do you live? Lol. You have me mixed up with someone regarding the sponsorship of a step son. I have only sponsored for my husband. It's just me and him, no babies just yet, only the one cooking in my tummy ;)

Thanks lonely and charlie!
