we got married at Cranbrook Farms in runaway bay..it was nice..outdoors and very private..only had about 10 guests...very cheap...

hubby bought my engagement ring in Ocho Rios...not sure the name of the shop but I love it

Kingston just called for me to drop off my sons passport! finally! if i said i didnt feel it i would be lying its like i knew they were going to call today, the phone woke me at exactly 7:50am! Finally this long wait is almost over!

vanny - we bought our wedding rings in that store in downtown mobay, they had an ok selection and I thought we negotiated a decent price for our rings. Check it out, you can definitely barter with them.

Vanny - Hubby and I bought each other's rings online from an American company, called Stauer's. You can look them up online, we got beautiful rings for each other for less than $150 US each! We had the rings delivered to him in ON with no issues.

Shhh, I am also buying a watch for hubby from them, as a "just because" gift.

hubby insisted on buying all the rings (didn't trust me i guess lol), so ours came from the UK

i think it was togirl who asked about hubbys' finding jobs... once we got into the city hubby had a job in a couple weeks (we landed and spent a couple months with family while the kids finished their school year and we could get resettled (We'd all moved to jamaica for my mat leave/waiting out his paperwork))... going thru temp agencies has helped a lot i believe... my hubby found his permanent gig thru one... the job he's doing now isn't in his field of school or background, but it brings in the money which is what needs to happen before the dream job is landed i guess

Godbless just got PPR!!!! she is on her way to drop off her passport and airway bill as they will no longer require persons to return to the embassy to pick up passports! OMG OMG OMG!!!

Happy Happy day this is and I guess me n Godbless really ago mek babies around the same time! lol
