child of the king - if there was anything I have learned from this forum it's that KG doesn't have a set timeline for anything!!! sometimes they are fast and sometimes they move at a snail's pace. Perhaps you should call your MP and get them to make an inquiry for you, they may be able to get some answers

ladyposh - there is an age difference between my husband and myself too....we obviously submitted enough proof for KG not to question it. As long as you have submitted enough proof, you should be ok. and don't "grudge" me girl....your time soon come!! if things go according to the latest timeline of 7ish months, hopefully your hubby will get the call in February!!

Ladyposh i was wondering about the large age difference so because my husband is 25 years older than I am. We sent in a lot of proofs too including joint bank account, life insurance, disability insurance, letters from friends and family. I am currently living in Canada with him. My medical will be expiring March 1, so i am praying that i will get through before with any interview too and medical redo.

HighF, the employer will have to apply through HSRDC and have a LMO completed to show that there are no qualified Canadians to perform the duties that your job will entail. I am not that familiar with it but did a little research a couple years back to see if that would be an option for bringing the Mrs up. If you ask the skilled workers forum they are much more familiar with the process than those of us in the family/spousal forum and should be able to guide you properly.

Iambless...hopefully you will get through soon without the interview. I however read that most "Inland Cases" usually have interviews but I have also seen ones that are completed without. It seems like you sent your application with alot of proof to backup your application. Good luck

Thanks for the advise Nae. I am just hoping that God will push through for us without me having to go through the MP. They already have his passport in hand so I don't see why they will hold it up. Our anniversary and my birthday is next week so we are really excited about the thought os spending it together.
