WOW Lonely_wife how exciting you must feel....

Actually I lucked out with understanding jobs and lots of overtime. I know the feeling about going to university it's a lot of time, energy and orgAnization. I graduated almost 4 years ago and am now thinking about going for my MSters.

Does the MP update you faster than Kingston? Oh my... Well at least the MP responds not too sure about Kingston.

Can-Indy-Jam... I live off overtime lol hahahahaha short changes... freaking shift work lol but whatever pays the bills lol... I have been in school for 5 years between college and university so once I finish my degree I plan to take a year off and work and then do my masters part time...

Well for me I tried faxing and emailing KG and actually even going there and was unsuccessful everytime so I have hope that maybe the MP will help but so far no luck but at least we are moving a little forward and I feel more hopeful... From what I read from others it seems like KG don't respond to emails and faxes unless you are over the standard time which is 15 mths at this point... but do they really respond after that?? I am not so sure and I rather not wait that long to find out lol... I would love to have hubby here way sooner lol

I will post updates as to what is happening if I get a responce.

lol lonely wife you have now joined our cheerleading squad!!! lol

KG didn't reply to my MP's first inquiry so she sent a second. When she did get a response it was about the wrong file and they gave the wrong file number. My hubby received his AOR letter the same day and I gave my MP the info on the letter and file number. So my MP sent another inquiry asking to verify the B # and she received a response stating it was a typographical error. Not sure how it was typographical when the whole file info was wrong but whatever.... It took 1 to 2 weeks for a response each time. My MP said it is the law that they HAVE to respond to the Federal MP otherwise they are in trouble. I'm glad your MP will send in a complaint lonely wife because they should be reprimanded for not doing their job! Hopefully that will light a fire under their butt to get your file processed!

it's only a few more weeks for you lonely!!! I bet hubby gets the call while you're there!!

can indy jam - the MP will update you faster than KG since KG updates you like.....NEVER!!! lol my husband has his Visa yet ecas shows the file is still in process and his B # still doesn't work on ecas....so that's how fast KG isn't lol

Thanks for sharing your MP experience Nae Nae really hoping that they will move there A** (KG that is) lol... Not just for me but for all the lonely wives and husbands waiting over here.... I totally agree with you they should get in trouble for not doing there jobs and trust me girl I am praying so hard that they call hubby soon... I would love for him to come back home with me... I am getting excited lol I wanted to buy new sheets and we were looking at styles online and I told him we need sheets for OUR bed lol he started to laugh he said it's not mines yet...

well i guess i shoudl share my mp experience well it was really hard for me in jamaica being that i am a gay female i dress liek a man and so forth i had to bear alot from those ignorant ppl my wife went to mario silva the mp for davenport he was of so much help especially his 'attendant isabella she is the best i called her when i got here and i thanked her i am supposed to drop off a card for her my immigration consultant is very good also he has been in the business for a very long time he is also apart of the gay community and he has only lost 1 case in the how many years he has been doing this i thank them every wingle day cause if it wasnt for them i dont kno where i would be

also to the new commers on here this forum is the best thing ever u have the best ppl here and ur mind can be at ease soemtimes i felt as thought i was gonna lose it and i could always come on here and i knoooo i would feel 100 percent better there were time i see ppl on here getting calls and i was sooooooexcited and it wasnt even me i remember when rosies hubby got a call and brown suga went to drop off her stuff i felt liek it was me its the best feeling as we are all like one bIg happy family
welcome to u all and there is a great standrad that we maintian on here especially the level of respect we show each other and the understanding as we all kno that we are all going thru thiis together but we all deal with it in our own individuAL way

too funny about the sheet purchase....I emailed my Hubby yesterday asking him what bed set he liked best of 3. He checked email today and that's how we picked our bedding ha ha ha I'm sending the universe vibes that my family is going to be reunited soon. It was too funny I was in Jamaica for x mas and I accidentally brought my hubbys deodorant home and my daughters underwear home as well I take it they will be arrivng home shortly (my wishful thinking)

Well that's exciting ur Hubbies will soon come home...what a relieve to you all.

I wish u all the best. I too get excited seeing everyones posts about reuniting with their loved ones. I have been monitoring this blog since September and finally joined this month. I saw all the encouragements and Chering squad cheer for each other. It's hard to explain this process to people and unless they too are going through immigration then they can have a better understanding especially when it comes to Kingston.

What is everyone cheering is it .....wake up Kingston and get with the program or who's NEXT....

I feel very privileged that you shared with us this little part of you... I am not sure if anybody else knew but if they did anyways I didn't know cause I am fairly new... I love how we can be so open and non judging on the forum... It feels great to be able to share and be heard and understood... OMG I really love your new word I sure hope I get cured from IMMIGRATIONWAITITIS very soon lol.... cause IMMIGRATIONWAITITIS is killing me hahahahaha... I too share the same feelings like you with others... I have a question, don't know why I don't know this but ...... my hubby wants to bring some rum with him. How many bottles is he allowed to bring....no worries he doesn't want to bring a case lol just 3 or 4 bottles. We don't sell rum cream here so he wants to bring 2 bottles, his aunt asked him to bring 1 bottle for his cousin and he wants to bring some real vibes cause they don't sell that here. Does anyone know? I just brought back 2 bottles, 1 for my sister and 1 for me. I've never tried to bring more than that back.

Nae nae the limit is 1.14L of spirits, 1.5L of wine,or 24 bottles or cans of beer.... now I always brought back 2 bottles of 1L and they never hassled me plus I would always put 1 or 2 bottles well wrapped in my bags and they never took them away from me... so I would say get him to put 2 in his suitcase and buy 2 at the airport and shouldnt be a problem.... My friend also told me that you can carry lots of little bottles "mickeys" and claim they are gifts and they dont hassle you.... BTW I am not sure if he drinks the sangsters but if so they sell it at LCBO...
