Hello everyone, I'm also a May applicant. You can add my info to the spreadsheet ;D

Husband and 2 accompanying children.

May 18, 2016 Application received in Mississauga
June 10, 2016 Email notification confirming receipt of application
July 20, 2016 Sponsorship Approval and file transfer to Kingston
July 25, 2016 Started processing application

Police check and medical exams all done upfront. All fees paid upfront.

I can't remember if there's any other info that I should be including but that seems to be lots :D

It's been really exciting to watch everyone's journey so far and I've really appreciated all the info that you have all shared. I am especially interested in hearing about the interviews and the questions being asked. It seems that there are lots of people with similar experiences. I wonder if we could add a tab to the spreadsheet and keep a running list of these things as they come up? That would be a lot easier than having to sift through thousands of pages looking for interview tips and sample questions when our time comes. Just a thought for your consideration! Thanks :)

;)

Added. I had started an interview questions page on the spreadsheet but found that most of the people getting interviewed were only asked question based on their individual app which would not apply to all so I took it down..but if people want it i will put it back up.

Hi all - have been quietly reading and sharing in your good news and anxious waiting while gathering our docs for the inland sponsorship app to submit as hubby is now here - he got here in time for our lil mans birthday and birthday party so that was a blessing - he's off to do his upfront medical today and I have a quick question - while I know most of you here are outland applicants the application guide says I can submit printed copies of my CRA assessment for proof of income from the website - I just want to be sure that they do accept this in the event any of you submitted the printed copies from the CRA website as proof of income or if its best I request and send my Option C's.

Thanks :)

Hey everyone, I received a notice from the government about all the increases they will be making to immigration programs including spousal sponsorship. However it seems this won't take effect until Spring of 2017. Here is the link if anyone wants to read it: http://www.cicnews.com/2016/10/immigration-plan-2017-canada-increased-immigrants-through-economic-family-sponsorship-programs-108621.html

Also I noticed that some people's outland FAM sponsorship came through in less than a year, but some went just over. Any idea what causes this?

so basically we can only use hard written information like text history, things on paper and photos has proof nothing digital?

Alot of the applicants from 2015 waited 10-13 months for sponsorship but KVO is working faster on 2016 applicants and they are getting calls around 8 months

In addition, paying all fees upfront will help. And medication and police check done with application

[copy of each other phone bill shows communicated, printed text and what's App, email, document sent by friends and family to you both, receipts in both names, insurance documents - beneficiary, joint credit cards statements, photographs dated, declaration of relationship from friends, travel itinerary]
