Oh emmmmm geeeeeeee!!!! A whole year has passed and they are JUST requesting an interview!? I thought that happened at the 7 month mark approx?! I feel for you!!! That is rediculous and so frustrating to hear!!

I was just startling to feel comfortable, I will wondered why now

For sure. Well let's just hope this interview call is one of the first of calls to come. At least.

Wow after waiting over a yr to then get ask for an interview and here I was thinking that they'll ask for that within the first few months after receiving the application.

They usually wait till the end to ask for an interview.

Wondering, how many of you all used a lawyer to complete your application or how many chose to go it alone?

We used a lawyer. Just because i wanted to make sure everything was done right and was completely overwhelmed by all of the paper work.

It definitely is over whelming!! Just nice to hear how others have gone about the process thanks for the reply!

Did they requested any further documents prior Shanstar? Just hold the faith and be prepared on that day...This too shall pass

I was always under the impression that they tell you within the first 6 months of the file being transferred that an interview was required then scheduled it a few months after guess I was wrong I remember a case where they'd already ask for passport then requested an interview after cant remember who it was but never heard what became of that case.

No not him I remember him commenting on it though, his case was an appeal one he didn't have to do another interview after he won the appeal.

Sara8513 ad her interview around 9 months and got PPR a month later. Idk who got interview after PPR. Rolinks got PPR the day of the interview which I've heard is common.

I do think I remember he got passport request then shortly after they requested an interview? Could be wrong tho.

It was someone name alou, ppr was feb 10, sent off feb, 22 then 2 weeks after they called requesting an interview. I had to do a lot of digging lol I'm just curious to know what became of that case.

I did it all alone as well. Start to finish with guidance from a friend that already went through it and lots of info from this forum
