I know it's hard to imagine being that long without your loved one, I've gone 14 months without seeing hubby.. Cob webs lol. Cost of flying back and fourth to Jamaica and Canada is hard on both of us, hard taking time off work and school, our love keeps us going and even though he's not physically here with me, he's in my heart everywhere I go lol plus technology is always helpful.

Have to tell you guys that although I don't always post on your stuff, I definitely laugh, cry, smh and stress with all of you. I have no clue what you look like or even know your real name, but I feel like I know you all.

I'm so glad we're all here together, I really don't know how I'd get through this process without being able to refresh the page and this group has one more joke, one more milestone, one more disagreement, one more sadness, one more togetherness - and that what it all boils down to.

How many people watch this group and never, ever even register. It's almost like reality tv with non-stop episodes. Even the lawyer that set up this forum, he's benefiting from all the knowledge that's here, not to mention everyone that has to go through this process in the future. Have to thank lonelycanadianwifey because she was so lonely she didn't know what else to do....she started this ball rolling.

Thats right ladies, lol, we are all here for each other, to laugh, cry, vent, huff n puff, learn from and help each other. I love this group, and Im thankful to have found it! I love hearing the landing stories, the PPR requests, even if im a little envious, im still happy for everyone who gets thru.

I just need to ask everyone, if I havent gotten it already on the spread sheet, can you send me your processing date on eCas if you have it, I think its a good tidbit of info to add on there for us all.

The longest I was away from hubby was 9 months, and that was awful!! I was 3 months pregnant when I had to go back to Canada and then after baby was born I brought the baby down to see hubby. We made a promise to each other that after that, we wouldnt let time pass by like that again. Its just horrible. I feel for u girl.

the longest ive gone without seeing the hubby was 7 months and we made this same promise never to go so long. can't wait for my vacation days to restart in January im out on the first thing smoking lol. but for the women that go years without seeing your husband i have so much respect for ya. sooooo much. im hoping and praying for a speeedy response for you guys.

as for me i'm still piecing together my application hubbys doing the medical this moenth. so we're aiming for the end of the month so i can get on this spreadsheet and begin the count down with you guys

i very much agree this forum is like my free emotional support group im constantly telling the hubby about what goes on in here. and how it keeps me going like lijasha said i dont post often cause i dont have much experience yet but im reading.
i must give a special thanks to shortyp and canjamdiva, they're amazing. and of course Paula who's so informative.
all the ladies on here you guys are full of vibes and jokes gotta thank you guys too.

Ladies I'm telling u 20 mths of torture. I was on bedrest throughout my pregnancy and she is a year old and he hasn't seen her yet. He is a wonderful husband and father and we talk everyday and he takes care of us but I miss him like crazy . I'm looking forward to seeing him soon . I just wanna see shortyp and everyone start getting ppr so I can have some more confidence that mine is coming up soon.. All this talk today is making me mushie. This is the same time that they received my application from mississuaga

I saw my husband july 2015, cause we went on vacation/honeymoon to USA. We some spent quality time but my step daughter was with us which made it a challenge for us to get dirty and have fun.

But i will reunite with him shortly, god always work things out. I believe in him with my whole heart which i surrender to him. He have done too much for me so i cant doubt him at all.

Let us all continue to have faith in god .

Your right anything is possible and yes sometimes people do breeze through faster , but yea 4-6 months from the time Kingston begins to your application is accurate in my opinion ..Mine was 5.5 months after Kingston began to process before my husband Receibed his passport request . His Police check had also expired a couple weeks prior to him getting back his passport but they didn't ask for another one .. If medicals /Police check and right to permanent resident fee up front then that would always speed up the process a bit for you ..

i did everything upfront and wifey pay the pr fee

It's so hard travelling back and forth the money spent to see my hubby is insane I could of bought a brand new 2016 car immigration needs to get their ass moving we all need to be with our love ones

They say husbands security check still hasnt been completed but they told my MP in Aug it had been.
They had our marriage listed as no formal ceremony (untrue), and that we were married in 2013, when we were married in 2010.
They have our children listed as "entered in error", which Im not sure what that means. Hubby says their error is why they asked for long form birth certificates instead of the regular short form that we handed in, resulting in a 2 month delay.
Oh boy, I am not happy at all right now and really makes me feel very uncertain that these people are competent at all.

Mine indicated that his security and police check had not been started but it was submitted with the application so I was hoping it meant they hadn't reviewed it yet. I'm going to ask via email later this month. I try to keep 4 weeks between my emails so I'm not too much of a crazy pregnant wife lol. I like to submit new ultrasound pictures each time as well.

I hope they clear these things up for you!! That its aggravating.
