Really...that's good info. I'm in Ont as well. So what you're saying is that a letter from me would suffice? I don't need anything from his side at all? The CRA letter says "proof of income"...so I'm worried we won't have it by the time he gets to Canada...you know the speed of the Gov of JA.

Thats right, i just write my own letter stating what he makes. One year they took 6 months to process but every other time it was fine. Didnt need anything from his side. I wrote a quick letter including my name, address, birth date, sin number and said "to whom it may concern, my husband (insert name) who resides in Spanish Town, Jamaica made a total of $_____ between Jan 1st 2014-Dec 31st 2014. Thank you." And signed it and faxed it. Thats it.

So Fedex doesn't ship to PO boxes. Can we ship the passport to the physical address?

I don't know why they said that cause you are not the first person who use Fedex to send passport in. And no this is not a mailing address, it needs to be sent a the this address :

Canadian High Commission
Visa Section
P.O. Box 1500
Kingston 10
Jamaica


Why not using DHL since your file is in Kingston? Or call back Fedex and try to know more about it cause the most of businesses offices has P.O. Box...it just doesnt make sens to my eyes.

Question....

Do u think it is better I wait out getting my new Jamaican passport? I have the forms all signed up and ready to drop off up by PP Office but i was thinking maybe not a good idea now while waiting to hear from Kgn VO. Thing is too, I didnt want the passport application with pics etc to pass 3 months which is considered expired and will need to get new passport application form sign up, ask back JP to sign etc...
So, I was wondering if it will affect my application with cic becuz I will have the old pp# assigned to eveything on PR Application.
My USA Visa and Canadian TRV is in my soon to be "old" passport and everything expires next year 2016 in August. I wanted the new Caricom pp and not have to be scrambling next year to get USA visa and new paaport then. So I was gonna get it done while I am here....Any recommendations on whether I should wait or take the chance and send in? ??? :-\

Welcome Ofia...We are hanging in there and trying to remain patient and positive..but as the weeks and months progress, worse when we hear or see nothing, then we getting weary physically, mentally, emotonally...we miss our spouses. We know it is all a part of the system have appliked to, but that does not diminish the fact that we still feel hopeless and disappointed at times, even tho we are happy at the prospect to be joining our spouses soon.
