Roxie,

Not saying mine has been smooth sailing. W have been thru alot. I personall do realize when I stress and worry it wasnt making it go any faster or smoother. And the up and down to deal with docs here and in Canada was a killer. We still dont know how this is gonna go but we are hopeful all will be well for us and for all of us on here especially, we want to all be in recipt of our PR, like so many others. I am clueless on the next step tho, after RPRF and all I am hoping that is an indication that our processing has finally began. Yea!! ;D

According to ppl here on the forum you the last lap actually..so we soon finish

On my Ecas it says they sent it by letter in the mail originally. I ended up getting my approval by email after a week of it being DM in Ecas.

Now in my Ecas it shows they sent "My correspondence" So it changed after they sent the email. You'll probably end up getting it in your email. I still haven't received the letter by mail as yet ....

Did you call and requested that they sent an email or did they automatically sent it without u having to request it?

Hey so I submitted my application and it was received by CIC on April 7, 2015, they began processing it on April 30 2015....now I see they said that a correspondent was sent on May 29 to me with the decision made as it relates to me being the sponsor.....but I have not received that mail as yet...I mean it should take three weeks to reach me....or would it take this long????? Anyways I called the call centre and they said if I dnt receive it by June 26 then they will send another one out....im wondering why I would have not rec'd that correspondent....im soooo anxious to see what it says..............grrrr

can I plz be added to the spreadsheet plz and thnx

Hi and welcome,

Yes it can takes more than a month to receive the approval letter. Usually you received an email mentionning they have received your package and they started processing and after you received an approval or denial letter. But don't hesitate to call back after June 26th to make them send it to you if you dont receive it.

I added you on the spreadsheet but I need more info. Who you sponsor? Which province you from? Ecas status on PR when you will have acces...

Thanks

Good day Ally,

If you had put on your application an email address and you ticked email for correspondence then it should automatically be sent to the email.

Hello forum, I am a Newbie... found this site after searching thru for info. I have read thru many posts over a week and now i have joined the family...
So hello everyone.... :D
My hubby in Canada is sponsoring me. I am in Jamaica right now after spending a few months with him last year. (Cant wait for us to finally start our family life together after this process, Yea!! :)

Our timeline:
My application AOR of November 12th 2014
His SA: April 14th, 2015
Received a letter on May 13, 2014 for me to do: Medical, Police Certificate (Jamaica), pay PRRF fee, 2 passport photos
Meds done on May 26, 2015, Police certi along with everything else done same day.
VO: Kingston
Category: Fam

I am also advised by someone send in a RCMP police certi at the same time as I spent over six months in Canada last year (granted extension).

So I am not sure the next step in the process but we are patiently waiting....

I hope great PR news for us all, so we can be united with our families.

Hi and welcome !
I added you to the spreadsheet also. Can you tell me which province your hubby is from? Thank you .

About the RCMP, usually it is requested at the same time than the other documents. So I really wondering why they did not request it on the letter you received on May 13th. Maybe they wont request it. I hope so for you!

Hi MelJam,
Thanks for the welcome and for adding me to speadsheet. I was thinking they didnt ask for my RCMP as maybe they just opened my application package and noticed I didnt do my medical and now request it before they start the "real processing". It was Roxie-B who replied to my post and said all the docs they asking for now with PC, photos etc is usually indicative of closer to the end according to other members experiences on the forum. So initially I was thinking (before Roxie reply) that when they do futher checks they will ask me for the RCMP. I heard it takes months...I just resign myself to the long addional wait. I know they will see I spent over 6 months in Canada last year so eventually I figure they will request it at some point. If they dont..Kudos for me ;D

My hubby's province is Ontario.

Since you never provided all the documents requested initially, I think you're right, they only requested what should have been in the package as requested on the documents checklist...so they will analyse this and if everything is in good order, they will proceed with the RCMP cause it doesnt make sens to order it if you have PC or medicals problems, you know. But when I looked at the spreadsheet, people who applied in Nov. 2014 and they have provided everything from begining, they have landed in Canada already. So maybe they will just wave the RCMP requirement and they will call you soon. It would be the best senario, but I doubt it...I wish you the best :)

You're welcome hun! Stay positive always, it helps to go through this! And latetly Kingston works really faster then before so it is really nice for people who applied recently!

When we applied in 2013 and before, nobody could go through before 12 months...now am amazed to see people going through within 4 months ! This is great news for everyones who are still waiting!

But no matter what time goes fast! Today we celebrating the 6 months in Canada for my hubby and I still feel like he landed yesterday!! I so proud of him about everything he accomplished already since hes here!

I telling you guys, this waiting will be soon only a chapter of your life that you will forget quickly ! :)

Hi everyone! Early morning vibes :)
This too shall pass!
