My FBI clearance took almost 16 weeks, I sent the VO an email about the time frame and then I received an extension to submit my documents. You might want to do the same. FBI office is not the fastest, so you might want to send those prints in asap.

Wow...long gone are the days where it took 30 days. I'm so frustrated about this delay. Had we known we would have done this while we waited for the last 10months. Did you send yours to Virginia?

Yes, I did send it to West Virginia. It takes long just for them to open your letter and input your information into their system. After that it takes roughly 2 weeks. I remember calling and was told they are processing and it would take up to 2 weeks to get but I got it within 5 days. So hopefully you sent yours earlier and they are closer to opening mail from that date.

Well, we received an email from POS and they have requested an interview, it states that I should be available at the same time for a call or I can attend in person on May 6th ...

Is this the end? Is anyone in the same boat?

Anyway they are requesting he bring his passport with him, my stepsons birth cert., proof of travel, proof of conversation ... I.e phone records.... And 4 updated forms.

It has been 20 days since they received the other documents they requeated....

Congrats too all who got through and hang tough to the ones still waiting and also to all who have landed and are able to carry on.

I can't wait until I can really put down my phone and enjoy life... If you know what I mean.

Depending in the area you are the price can be different. In Kingston it was 12 000$ JMD for my hubby. And YES the police record and the medicals MUST be provided with the application. You need to provide everything mentionned in the Document Checklist.

I agree with MelJam's opinion that it sounds like the end is near and they are ready to approve . You and hubby need to pay the RPRF as soon as possible. Immigration will not issue visas or proceed with anything else until that is paid and if you wait for them to ask it may cause a delay. When it's paid you will get a copy of the receipt that you can e-mail to your visa office and I would also suggest you provide them with another copy of the receipt at the interview as a back up. IF THEY HAVE REQUESTED PHOTO'S, EVEN WITH NEW APPLICATIONS, SEND IN PRINTED PHOTOS AND NOT BLACK AND WHITE FROM THE PRINTER BECAUSE THEY WILL ASK FOR IT AND THAT IS A "DELAY"
