It worked for me early this morning because I saw DECISION MADE and started freaking out. I was so concerned it was bad news because we hadn't received a PP request but I contact my MP and his assistant confirmed we have been approved! She says it is a 2 week wait for the visa and we should hear something soon. I cannot believe it. Best Christmas present ever!!!

MelJam - thank you for posting your experience. It was the only thing that kept me sane this morning until I got confirmation it was an approval and not a denial.

But to confirm - I can't get CIC to work anymore!

Yay so nice !! Congrats girl !!! For me it took 4 business days b4 they called for ppr ! So maybe this Friday you got PPR ! Whooohoooo !

I guess the guy she was talking to found it strange that we hadn't recieved a request for his passport. I am convinced you and I had the same visa officer Mel. I am supposed to get my notes today so I will look at the initials and see. Not that I care that much anymore - just think it is funny your and my experiences were different thank others.

I hope your hubby gets his PP back soon. I'm hoping mine is here for New Year's and that only happens if they start sending your pasports back ASAP!!!

Yes I sure you will have your man for New Year !! I crossed fingers that my hubby's passport will be back for the 22, cause I want to put him on the flight of the 23 !! Its a must cause if not, theres no flight in time to celebrate Christmas together. I keep praying and hoping !

How will you know when DHL picks up your package? Guess you check it every day? Did you book your hubby's flight home already? Which day is he coming home to you?

Good monday Jam fam!

To all the DHL website stalkers waiting for their passports back I am sure that you will receive them before Friday, or worst case scenario next Monday so that your spouse gets off the plane with a red and gold bow around their waist instead of a belt LOL!, right on time for Christmas !!!!!!

To each and everyone else, I wish you an extra speedy process because as I can witness the backlog is part of the past now. Processing time around a year now (Still too long I know :), but at least you guys are not victims of the 7 months strike that lengthened many of us on the Kingston tread anymore, that is a good thing.

In process; docs request; PPR, and plenty of passports returned to their owners with the "Oh sooooo coveted visa"! Come on KG & POS, you can do it!!! A little extra effort before the Holidays vacations, we know that you LOVE sending our Caribbean man and women in the freezing cold to test them. Don't you know that JA people aren't fret of nothing? They never back down ;D

I stalk DHL every hours ! LOLLLL I got the application in my phone and look at it I don't know how much times per day ! My new name is DHL Stalker as cafelatte called me !

No I did not book it yet, and wish he can travelling on december 23 with the direct flight from Mobay to Montréal ! Crossed fingers!

I know! It is surreal but so wonderful. They requested nothing - just an email that says this:

Please have applicant submit to our office the following documents:
- Valid passport
- Prepaid Air Waybill from DHL, Tara or Airpak Express courier services.

Documents should be submitted via courier.
