Congrats to people who received good news, interview included that means that you are very close to be reunited with your spouse. Good thing that you can be a part of it, that is awesome

Jessie we are all going through the same crisis period. This process is definately not an easy one but it comes to an end. Try to focus on positive things, talk to you hubby daily, Skype date, and do everything in your power to make it as bearable as it can be. You and your spouse won't go through breakdowns at the same time, you need to cheer up each other throughout this bumpy journey, it is absolutely necessary in order to make it with God's help and lots of love.

Hi all, received a letter today requesting Medicals and PC. Finally we hear from POS. But let me ask a question has anyone heard of or have been asked to resubmit Generic Application Form IMM0008, Scedule A Background Declare IMM5669 and the Additional Family Information form IMM5406? This is what out letter is requesting.

I had a immigration associate (services) do our application, I am really pissed right now at this letter because it doesnt look right to me. I am meeting with the gyal who did our application tomorrow, n i am really trying hard not to loose it on her.

Just needing some clarification if this is a good or bad thing.

Yay! Congrats! Did you notice if they sent this letter a long time ago? What is the date of the letter? Im curious since some people here had bad experiences with regular courrier...

yaaayyy congrats Spence on POS moving on your file. If I am not mistaken another member was asked to resubmit a bunch of their documents as well so may not be the way your agent filled them out.

Hey everyone i have a question for those who have or their spouse gotten their visas already; how long do they give u before u have to leave the country as in the visa expiration date. Thanks in advance.

It will say on the visa when it is valid till and they have until that date to land. It's usually the day your spouses meds expire.

Yes. We were asked to complete all of those forms again for both my husband and my step son. Basically they just want to make sure that nothing has changed since you applied, ie. a baby, and also to update where you have been living and working since initial application. That's all.

Hey jojrob, I think you have 6 months as of the issuing date of the visa. My hubby's was issued on Oct 15th, valid until May 15, 2015. If the visa date expire, you need to start the process all over

But as Sammy said, it may expire when the medical does. It might be a coïncidence in our case.

Congrats on your docs request from POS s_spence!

Not because they are requesting to resubmit some forms that your immigration associate didn't do her job properly. I was asked to resubmit shed A IMM5669 for my husband along with the originals of both birth and wedding certificates, plus a prepaid envelope before PPR and I filled the forms myself. There are two resons for your VO to request it: 1 - They want to make sure they have all the updates (birth, new job, etc...); 2- They're either meticulous or want to double check if you will send back the same info. You can always look at it as an opportunity to sees in the case that you would forgot a little detail.

Don't worry at all dear, many of us are requested to submit add. docs, it's part of the procedure.

The date was actually Oct 29, 2014. so we have 60 days to resubmit all required documents. POS is quick on the d email.
