now when you requested your notes, did they have any explanation why its taking so long in your case? seems very random, like its not by date or time when you apply, but more the luck of the draw if you get thru before 15 months.
im so confused as to how some get thru in as little as 9 months and others take the whole processing time.
what makes them address your file once in cue? when in cue is there a time limit on the person whos desk it is sitting on?
i really wish we could demand some answers from these people as to what they do in a day at work. it seems like they are napping instead or working. here in canada at least we can speak to a human being...there its just the recording. and they dont answer to anybody. here you demand a governing body to be accountable with explanation and thats what you will get! it may not be the answers you were looking for but its answers none the less!
Your notes will not give you any reason why your case may take longer than the next person. You will be able to see if they have started working on your file and also see any notes that they may have added.....well I say this but note VO's update notes either. . You just need to hope that you get a VO that updates your file
NO ONE knows why some people get through in 9 months and others 20 months. They are SUPPOSED to work on applications in order that they receive them but they don't.
They are supposed to look at your file again on your "bring forward date" which is called the due date on your notes. This is 1 year from when you got sponsorship approval. Some VO's follow this rule and others don't.
No one will ever know the process in which Kingston works as we all just have to wait our turn in line. You need to remember though that Kingston is responsible for 3 other islands visa applications as well and Kingston is a very busy processing visa office. They get thousands and thousands of applications a year.
I know it's a frustrating process and some of us have been waiting longeer than others.....but at the end of this wait it will seem like nothing once your spouse is back with you and you have the rest of your lives together.
