Actually....I don't want to burst your bubble but the posted times of 25 months on the CIC website go from when you got Sponsorship approval and not from when you filed your application. So it would be go by September 19th I was just looking at your time line

Either way.....email Chris Alexander's office. You have been waiting way to long and they need to do something.

They haven't updated the posted times since March 2014 and they should have been updated already. So here's hoping that the posted times do go down and a lot of us fall into the new processing times

When we applied it was 17 months....now 14 months later it is at 25 months. It's soooooo depressing

Yup! Same for us... It was 17 or 18 months... which I thought was unbearable at that point... now for it to be 25 months! I can't even imagine how we will survive this, but I guarantee you that we will!

Apparently. My husband is a failed refugee applicant and deemed inadmissible to Canada until our ARC is approved.
In this situation ..the processing times do not matter. That is what I have been told by the mp. Its like we are criminals because he was denied refugee status. Its sad

Oh Shoot! Yes, you are in a very difficult and advanced league. Being denied already is likely the reason you are still waiting for his decision made and even then it isn't guaranteed. You should look at the waiting as a good thing, that he could have been an open and shut denial, but they are taking the time to really look into things. Think of it as a glass half full kind of deal.

They must have, because they did not ask for new ones, and when i received our notes in March they just said Medicals completed

They emailed a letter to our lawyers, who then forwarded to us. They had asked for an updated criminal record and proof of communication in April, so they have not requested anything else this time.
