So I'm pretty new to this forum and I keep reading about people ordering notes from CIC and this data spreadsheet I keep reading about. Anyone have info on these please and thanks? Really hoping my husband gets to come home soon reading all your stories definitely makes me a little more hopeful that it may be soon

Here is some information regarding GCMS notes:

GCMS notes (Global Case Management System) are notes that are made on your file. The Sponsor can order them online or by mail for $5 and the Applicant has to sign a consent form. They take 30 calendar days (sometimes longer) to be sent to the Sponsor once they are ordered.

A lot of people order the GCMS notes if they have been in the process (around a year) and haven't heard anything from Kingston. It is also a good idea to order them if you are scheduled for an interview.

Welcome to the JAMFAM Steen. Care to share a little bit about yourself with us all? When did you apply, get sponsorship approval, etc.? As for the notes everyone orders them at different stages. I ordered my first ones at the 6 month mark and most likely will not order again until 8 or 9 months.

I too ordered my first set at my 6 month mark and waited until my 1 year mark to order again. Everyone is different and I was hoping against all odds that hubby would have gotten a call for his VISA. Instead we're back onto the conversation about me moving to Jamaica instead of him coming here.

I guess we'll see what our patience holds for us

Thanks! and sure. I am a born canadian citizen, my husbands a jamaican born citizen. we have been married almost 2 years and have a 2 year son. my husband also has 2 children from his previous marriage. We applied for sponsorship June 28th 2013 Ecas says application received. I was approved to sponsor July 2013. From then until April 2014 we heard nothing. On april 23rd ecas updated to in process and "we started processing your application on april 15th" The same day we also received a request for his 2 children's (from his previous marriage) medicals. On the following day CIC requested some extra information for Schedule A i believe it was they wanted a couple extra years of info as well as a new Police certificate and repayment of fees (which was an error since we paid all our fees we never had any paid for us). the following day I received a mailed letter requesting the RPRF. All info that was requested and fees have now been submitted and the children's medicals have been completed on June 4th ecas was updated as medical results received. thats as far as we have gotten We are really hoping the next step is PPR, since I dont see what else there could be left. anyone have any insight?

hi every one i am new to this site, been reading all the landing stories and i just wanna say congrats to all!

my husband is born canadian caucasian and am jamaican we meet in canada i was living there for three years got sent back december 12 divorce my sons father and got remarried in october 13 all application paid fees for ticket the bought for me and my son along with arc and landing fee all paid for, i receive a call from kingston immigration to pick up and make some corrections to the cheque and resend, they receive corrected cheque within 1 week so am 7 months in process and haven't head any thing yet from them, this waiting game is killing me and i know a lot more that feels the same as i do.

why immigration kingston as to take so long to approve especially when they have everything for the applicants?

i miss my husband so much
