Thanks so much for the tip but my hubby is from the North coast so we will be departing from Montego Bay and Fly Jamaica only departs from Kingston.
I think it will be expensive no matter which airline I book flights from. I have been anticipating this cost so I have been putting a little aside each month to help with the cost.

Congrats again hun :-* Atleast this trip down will be one of the better ones as there will be no airport goodbyes as hubby will be going with you ;D

Feeling so frustrated! Passports were sent in, received and signed for 15 days ago! What's taking so long to send them back?

Dont feel too bad JDUBS............ ours were hand delivered passports and photos 47 days ago........ Thats right MARCH! and we are still waiting! This is very frustrating to me. We have been in Process since MArch 11.......... according to my math that is 52 days waiting for VISA!

I wonder if Daddys Girl, you and I have the same VO? Are the initials DH on your notes? That would be interesting to know. I sent a letter to Kingston 3 weeks ago, and never heard a reply. I called my MP, last week and he put an inquiry into Ottawa this week, but said it takes time for them to reply....... Maybe our VO is on sick leave or something All three of us went into process on March 11. Lets pray that we hear something this week..... But I sure agree with you, it is very frustrating waiting for the Visa to be returned.

I am in Alberta so its expensive for me too. I was just thinking if you found cheap things maybe if immigration gets him his pp back asap I would go and get my hubby too! we'll see. Have fun on your trip though! Long flight for him. Is it his first time on a plane?

In the last 5 years of flying to Jamaica, I think 1 time I found flights for around $750 return. Usually I pay $900 to $1000 return for flights.

Thanks Kadi! Airport goodbyes are horrible!!! I have a love/hate relationship with that airport. I love arriving and I hate leaving!

It seems so strange that you all went into Process March 11 and all don't have passports returned!

Praying that passports are returned ASAP!! I feel your pain and I know how frustrating it is when you are so close to being done with this process and then having to wait. We waited 1 month for passport return and each day that passed felt like an eternity. Stay strong!!

I'm not sure who the VO is. We have never ordered the notes. We just saw the change to began processing March 11 online then got the call on April 12th to submit a new pc and visas. Haven't heard anything since.
