Hopefully you hear something soon. How did hubby interview go?

Interview went very well huzzy says . They asked a lot of personal questions tho and laid everything we sent them on the table

I hear you MRS! WE took passport in on March 18, 2014 and have not heard anything yet. I hope your husband is right that they send a whole bunch out at a time............ and I HOPE THAT TIME IS TOMORROW!

My spidey senses tell me it will be tmrw!

I am wondering about something though. The letter said we are sending a return envelope for the return of his passport and "other documents" Do they send you back the originals you sent of say birth certificates and marriage licenses? Did anyone else get anything else back with their passport?

As far as I know the interview has been waived if they request passport . I'm still waiting for them to send passport back to huzzy but they told him that everything will be returned with passport. But this is from someone at the office who told him then told me. So I would still double check about getting info back right away. Think u need it for travel when he meets immigration officer at the airport in Canada.

I see that there was some movement so congrats to those that have heard from KGN and those that are still anxiously awaiting their PP to be returned. Let's hope that spring buts a little zip in KGN steps and they send out lots more requests!!

Congrats JMRS and yes, the interview is officially waived ;D!! Actually once a file goes to "in process" on ecas that means the interview is waived. And yes #2 to your other question, you will get back your entire package of everything you submitted to them including all documents, photos, etc. etc. Home stretch now. I truly believe that the Seasonal Farm Workers Applications are their priority right now, hence the slowing down of our Apps. Hope they hurry and get out of here.

I had my hubby redo his PC already and he is picking it up today

Hey Sammy, my hubby finally sent in his PC yesterday via DHL. With the easter holidays, it was delayed and he was NOT happy! Hopefully we all hear something soon, I think his patience are running lower than mine

If they asked you to redo it then you most likely will hear something soon. My hubby is going to hang onto his and wait to hand it in with his passport...unless we haven't heard anything in the next month or so

Only thing we heard about was the request to extend hubby's meds....so i guess once they get that back we will hear something as well

I am hoping it is any day now

Seasonal Farm workers don't fall under Family class and the VO officers that work on them are different from the ones that work on our files....so they are probably still enjoying some bun and cheese

Also...starting in May/June there is a slow down on PPR's....has been for the pst 2 years ( summers) I've been on here. So please don't get discouraged because the slow down is bound to happen and it SUCKS!!!

I really hope that you get your passport back soon...it's been to long!!!

Ahhh Josephine what can we do...Husbands and Wives should not be apart for this long. Worst part about this week for me is that DHL does not work on weekends but lets look forward to tomorrow and see what it brings.

I wish there was some kind of action we could take. If other industries go on strike, they are forced back to work and when they do go back, they are asked to do overtime to pick up the slack that was caused by the strike.

Thanks for clearing that up Sammy. I thought Farm Workers and Students Applications affected the processing of ours.

Thank you my dear and I really hope it's soon too as my husband and I are going out of our minds. With this anticipated "slowing down" I can't help but feel bad for the persons before me who haven't heard anything yet.

Hoping that this journey will end soon for all of us especially for Daddy's Girl. She is the strongest and most patient woman on here.
