Thank you all for your comments about hubby's police check. As mentioned, he is fully aware of the cost and also that it could add time to our process.
Since we have gone in process, things between us have been very tense. I thought it was wonderful to finally see us in progress. I don't know if it suddenly became real for my hubby but he didn't see it as something wonderful. Sometimes he says things and it sounds like he doesn't even want to come to Canada. He has never left Jamaica and I think that he is just scared of the unknown, which I can't really blame him for. I try put myself in his shoes so even though it could add time to our process, I don't want to push him too hard about the PC.
I know it sounds crazy but any advice for dealing with a hubby who doesn't seem that thrilled to be coming to Canada??
