No, she received an official letter asking for her passport and to re-doe her police record as it expired. Not sure what they plan to do with the passport at this time whether it will be a visitors visa or a PPR. Will keep everyone posted. At this point, I am assuming it is a PPR unless we hear otherwise.

Yes, AOR was received on June 3rd. Since then I have been waiting. I have also utilized my MP for assistance with the application.

I have made all my inquiries through my MP as I never could get anything out of Kingston myself directly. I didn't want to order notes and wait 2-3 months for a response in the mail either. Using your MP is free as they are elected officials for your region and that is also their job when you sponsor someone to assist you whenever they can. So I have fully taken advantage of that and it shows that it has helped me a lot. The MP office has been extremely helpful and supportive for my application. Any updates to my documents I forwarded through my MP and my MP passed that long to Kingston. Kingston already has my travel plans for March this year when I go to Jamaica. Hopefully they will process everything in time so when I arrive, she will come back home with me.

They are getting ridiculous with the prices.

Every institution is finding a way to exploit this already expense process.
