Lexi how are you doing? How's your son? If it makes you feel any better I got PPR at 12 months.

I'm making the best of a bad situation. My son is really struggling. We're constantly changing his medications to see if we can get something to work. In the meantime we are heading down to see his "Teddybear" for 2 1/2 weeks. Hope it is helpful and doesn't backfire on us. Cross your fingers.

Kingston hasn't said anything yet, so, as usual, we just wait.

60 days for the medical.

That's must be extremely hard with all the changing of medications. KGN doesn't have a heart seriously this poor child is suffering. I hope you find something that helps him. Any luck with Skype? Photos?

I wish you a safe trip and I pray the goodbyes won't be a huge disappointment for him. My heart goes out to you I really feel for you. Take care we're here if you need us.

Yes they emailed me with the paperwork and request yesterday.
Seemed odd that they asked for medical redo and not the criminal check considering the criminal check was done a month or so before the medical.

Has anyone been processed in less than 18 months? This is ridiculous, no?!

well Lexi - while there is no approval stamp in my hubbys passport just yet - I am praying and keeping the faith that by March (15-16months in) that the process will be close to done.

from day 1 I have had my email address listed as contact...you should request that...they will send you any updates and requests.
I had requested that because I know my hubby would be forever checking the mail....and we all know how fast the mail gets delivered in JA gives new meaning to snail mail.
at least this way If I get something - I send him a text - he gets online...prints whats needed and handles it....

under check your application status on CIC website - to the left you can change your address.. just update your email address for future communications...at least that way - you can let hubby know immediately when they request something .
