Oh wow! Lovely landing story Nev. Congratulation, what a relief eh?
I got fuzzy inside reading it and thinking of hubby and I hehe.

Happy New Year to all. This is the year we are going to our spouse for 2012 applicants and some 2013 even if it's winter, only a matter of time.

Nev are you from or living in Winnipeg?
Yes, I live in Winnipeg -- currently colder than Mars and the North Pole -- seriously!!!!! :D

My only fear of Canada so far is FROST BITES! I have heard a terrible story from one of my friend from North Dakota living in Nebraska. He said one day he froze his feet and went to shower and the bottom of his feet we left in the shower when he got out. Said his feet never been the same since then. What a disturbing story! I almost puke (sorry).

Lol stay away from frost bites make sure you bundle up. Invest in a heavy winter jacket, gloves, hat, scarf, winter boots, tights and 3 socks and you should be set lol

You will have to dress in a lot of layers and your hubby will have to buy you a down filled jacket and warm boots. Trust me, you don't have to care about what you look like, the most important thing is that you are warm.

I froze all of my fingers when I was a little girl and the doctor thought they may have to amputate them. Thank goodness that didn't happen but it was a VERY painful recovery.

Nev how is hubby holding up with all this cold weather? How is everything?
Thanks for asking O&O!!!!

Hubby is adapting better than I could have imagined! My friends and family have been very supportive and are trying everything they can to make him as comfortable possible.

It is bone-chilling freezing in Winnipeg and hubby has been a trooper!!!! He was having problems taking a deep breath and he said his skin feels likes it's being stretched very tightly -- he has already gone through two bottles of lotion!!!!!

It is quite the ordeal when he gets ready to leave the house!!!! It takes him about 20 minutes to layer up, get his boots, hat, scarf, and jacket on!!!!

Your most welcome I am happy to read hubby has a lot of support that is something we can't take for granted. Hubby is doing a wonderful job at bundling up. Has job searching began or plans for school?

My friend offered hubby a job yesterday but we're going to hold off for a while. We are heading to Calgary next week and I want hubby to adapt to Canada a little more before he decides what he wants to do. We are fortunate to have friends who own their own businesses that are willing to hire my hubby when he is ready to start working. :)
