Hi, I have been quietly reading the post for the past few weeks. It has been a long process for us, June 2011. I guess our file was part of the backlog. You guys are really encouraging. We are almost at the end of our journey but each hour feels so long now.

Anyway here is my stats:

Application ...June 2011
Approved for sponsorship ... July 2011
File sent to Jamaica for process ...September 2011
Med request... October 2011
Med and police clearance redo ....May 2012
Med redo ....September 2013
Police clearance, additional family info update and Passport request Oct 2013(but there was a delay in sending the letter so we didn't get it until end of November 2013)
;D Decision Made... Dec 20, 1013

How long after decision made will we get the passport back?

Wow...June 2011!!!! Is your application family class? Are you sponsoring your spouse?

You should be getting your passport back soon if a decision was made on Dec 20. Do you have a tracking number with the courier service you used to have your passport returned? I would track the package or call DHL (or whoever you used) if you don't have a tracking number and see if they have your package.

Congratulations on having the patience of a saint and to making it to the end of your journey!

oh my gosh your journey has been so long.......and I thought mine was bad gee whiz.....i feel for you

Did you have to put in a DHL envelope to get your passport back? If so have you been tracking your package? Another forum member on here Danielle902 her ECAS went to decision made on Dec 20th also but I am not sure if she has received their passport back yet or not as she hasn't been on recently. Hopefully she comes on and can tell us if she has received hers or not (hubbies) But I would think that anyday now you should be receiving your passport back. 31 months for PPR.......that is the longest I have ever seen, your have the patience of a saint to have to wait so long. Congrats on finally reaching the end of your journey!

Well made it safe and on time to Ja so happy I don't know why I leave this man behind but Kingston should be giving us our call on Monday and passport back on the following Monday for our anniversary 2 years married it's time we start our fAmily. This trying for a baby business is fun lol my husband is a little tired lol here's to hoping I come back with my husband and a baby on the way
