Hi Everyone!

I am new to this forum and i've been reading some posts regarding Notes...what are these notes and how can i order them?

Also, i applied for the process in May 2013 and received confirmation by the office in jamaica in June 2013. I will be moving end of January, should i let the embassy know of my address change now or later when i move? what information do I need to send them when i send them an email?

i've also heard of people coming to canada on a work visa while going through the filing process? do any of you know if this is true?

You can send the embassy a case specific email and you can also change your address directly on your ECAS. WHen you send them the case specific it will tell you what information you need when you send it. As for your question about coming on a work visa, I have never heard of it but not saying it can't happen but TRV's are very hard to get when you already have a family sponsorship application in process. If you click on my link below my purple thing, you will get the spreadsheet where you can see others timelines that have been or are going thru this process to help gauge how long it takes sometimes, but everyones cases are different. ANy more questions ask away someone will surely be around eventually to answer them. Once again, welcome, pull up a chair and get settled in for the wait! :D :D :D
 
It's a Christmas miracle!!!! My Medicals have been found!!!!!!!

Chickie or Kadi..... Please update me on the spreadsheet!! All this emailing back and forth paid off. I know it's only my Medicals but the amount of stress it caused us and now it's over for now. I had tears.
 
Oh Sammy, great news! What a relief. Let us know if they change your status . Mine doesn't say med received. Emailed a few times No answer. I'm wondering if it's because his son's meds aren't in yet ???

It's been updated. That's how I found out. I emailed them again late last night and no answer. Checked ECAS earlier and nothing. Checked at 10pm tonight and it was there

My question is how did they lose your medicals?

In October I sent in some additional proof and asked if my Medicals were received. They replied back that they weren't and that we would need to do them again if they couldn't find them. I called Bull Crap and said if they are now done electronically how can they be missing. They told me I needed to call the dr to see if they were sent....back in January 2013. I called the dr and of course they were sent. I had to resend a bunch of info, emailed Kingston numerous times and finally got my MP involved. After 2 months they were located because tonite my ECAS was updated
 
Hey Fam Jam,

I'm currently at the beautiful YVR heading to montago bay tonight. Me and my husband are taking this time to really focus on our marriage, and try and repair our stress cracks (thanks to CIC) and get back to where we were before this whole process, so i won't be very active on the site for a few months. I will try check in when I can, but when i do I better see PPR for Chickie and passports returned to all our other 2012 members :)

I wish both you and your families a wonderful christmas season, and fast processing :)

Hope you have a great stay. This process can be a lot to handle. Just hang in there. I will be in Ja next week for a couple of weeks.

I know right!? I'll have to start doing longer layovers (since I have to layover ANYWAY) at Pearson so you can come see me there! ;)
