Question. Over on another thread they said you can't order notes before the 9, 10 month mark. Any truth to this ?

Nope! Mine we're ordered in my 5th month just so I could see if my file is at least out of registry. Should be getting them any day now!

GCMS notes (Global Case Management System) are notes that are made on your file. The Sponsor can order them online or by mail for $5 and the Applicant has to sign a consent form. They take 30 calendar days (sometimes longer) to be sent to the Sponsor once they are ordered.

A lot of people order the GCMS notes if they have been in the process (around a year) and haven't heard anything from Kingston. It is also a good idea to order them if you are scheduled for an interview.

Nev, have you ever " added" to your file. If you recall , hubby's son's mother refused to allow the medical. Well, after some conversation and knowledge. , she had agreed , so we're waiting on son's passport to then do medical

That's a biggie, Mrs. Davis and I'm not very knowledgeable about adding dependents to your application after it has been submitted. Hopefully someone that has experience with this will chime in. I'm very happy to hear that she has come around -- that is a victory and a wonderful opportunity for your son!!!

That is still amazing news, Mrs Davis and at least it keeps the door/window open for the child should he choose to come to Canada one day. Of course you will be able to add him I'm just not sure of the steps you need to take.
