Happy Thursday. I was reading this article this morning and though I would share. I don’t know about others but I find it strange that they are suggesting to recruit workers from the United states when there are so many Canadian who are out of work. With an unemployment rate of 6.9 percent should the government not be looking into ways to educate Canadians into filling those jobs. I don’t know if its backwards thinking on my part but I strongly believe in taking care of your own before you take care of others. Lol although with the recent news blast (rob Ford) I am less than confident in the people elected to run this country daily.

HEY guys i was off the forum for a few days,so i manage to read and try to catch up with everyone. Welcome to all the newbies i must say when i discover this forum it helped me a lot i was drowning in depression but the guys on this forum keep me going. Waiting forever tears :'( :'( :'( :'(fill my eyes after reading your forum i cried because someone mentioned they take your pp give you hope and then they drop a BOMB,they took our pp in the same month mine on the 9th yours on the 13th when i saw that they called you i said yes hopefully i hear something soon for myself. I asked this question the first time i joined this forum that if they take your pp can they turn you down still and the answers were NO because no one would never imagine they would do such dreadful thing,why not just never deny people on the interview i thought that's what they normally do deny you on the interview.....WOF please do not be discourage i want you to get there ASS, Now to be honest no one knows what to expect anymore i feel like just going up there and take my pp and my kids pp back am actually worried now BIG SIGH.......

I think this is why so many of us were in shock from this because we never believed they would take their passport and then deny them. This was a new one for all of us!

Hello all,

I asked a question a couple days ago about getting "notes". In regards to requesting the notes, what form is it online? Do both my husband and I need to sign? I think Chickie72 said that she takes a lot of copies and gets her husband to sign while in JAM?

If I don't hear anything by Dec 20, I am booking to go for part of Christmas break.

# 3 is the consent form and yes your hubby needs to sign it to give consent for you to get information about him. Hope that helps

Thanks Chickie. I'm realizing now that when they say "provide details on the back of this page" they probably just mean page 2 of IMM5481.

Another forms question for u, or anyone else who might have a child already that is not their spouse's.....

On the form IMM0008 (Generic Application for Canada), should hubby be listing my son as a dependent?? The form gives an option to choose "step-son" as the relation, but I don't really think he is considered as hubby's dependent since he lives in Canada with me?

Thanks again for your input! I thought everything was all completed but now I'm second guessing every little detail it seems !! ughhhhhhh I think it's time for bed, or maybe time for a drink!!

no because your son is a citizen of Canada already, only if he has children in JA would you put them here.

Good read; Ready; from what I understand maybe Canadians don't want this type of labor or the population in these provinces are low and can't satisfactorily fill the shortages.


From my experience here; Canadians prefer to employ Canadians so it must be that they can't get enough Canadians to hire why the study is suggesting Americans.

So on monday got on email frm the high comission requstion sum documents , this I got a call frm dhl sayin they r deliverin my package ,I'm confuse cuz I sent my pp 3months ago 4 visa stampin so nw I'm worried :'(

wow it sounds like they are very confused in that office. I don't know what to say except wait and see when your DHL comes and hope and pray it is your PP stamped with a pretty visa! Are they delivering it today? Keep us updated!
