LOL it is hump day! We are all just kinda in a slump on hump days LOL middle of the week, we haven't heard sheit and we dont' quite know how the rest of the week will go so we are kinda winding down from our excitement from the Monday woohoos!

Hello CanJam POS office is holding steady at 20 months since last update. Probably because they were so active in Sept./Oct. with processing, many of us received news - approvals, refusals, PPRs, interviews and Decisions made.

I feel so bad :'( for the Kingston members to see their processing time has increased. Like most of you, I simply do not understand why immigration cannot allocate more resources to this office. I hope you all (I know some of you have already) join forces to deluge the MPs, the High Commissioner, Minister of Immigration and Prime Minister with complaints to get this office more help. I am sure the staff are feeling overwhelmed and would probably appreciate the support.

From what I understand this should not affect those already in the queue but it is still not acceptable when the gov't claims family reunification is a priority. They (gov't decision-makers whose salaries we pay!!) need their cages rattled loudly, consistently, persistently and with strength in numbers. Sending encouragement and prayers to all of you. Quick Question for anyone who is skilled at reading notes... Last month mine said my paper file was located at "Registry" where it has been since it was received in Kingston, this month it says that my paper file has been transferred to "JM01310" and that is its current location. No other updates for eligibility security or criminality (all not started). Does anyone know if this means anything? I take it to mean that my paper file has been moved and is maybe on someone's desk??? Where does everyone else's notes say the location of their file is?

Good Afternoon ladies (and a few gentlemen).

I'm in the 'just-back-from-seeing-hubby' slump... blahhhhhh... I think I am in withdrawal!

Our application is coming together... just a few last minute things to do while waiting on the marriage certificate and the FBI police clearance. The pastor said the quickest he can get the marriage cert is 2 weeks after the wedding. The FBI fingerprints were sent by DHL and received on October 18th so hoping that soon the report will be on its way to me!

I have been reading and re-reading the guide and our forms to make sure there are no errors and I thought of a question to ask you guys. On the form (IMM 5481) Sponsorship Evaluation: For question 7, my total is showing as 3. Is this correct if hubby has no children, and I have one dependent son living with me?

Question 6b says "Every other family member not included above and dependent on you financially. Enter their number in the box on the right and provide details on the back of this page". I'm assuming I put 1 for my son in that box? (which makes the total 3). Is there anyone else with this type of scenario? If yes, what details for your child did u put on the back of the page, just name and DOB?

Yes this is exactly what it means. The JM is the initials of the officer. Trail of my notes are to: SP*****, AA*****, 60W-REG, back to SP*****, MC*****, C0330, back to 60W-REG, back to C0330 its the traveling file LMAO
