Well been awhile since I've been on here. Enjoying spending my time here in JA with my hubby and now 3 month old. Can't believe I've been here for almost 7 weeks already.

Congrats to all that have heard something and a huge big congrats to Chickie...I'm so hapy for u hun

Took me 2 hrs to catch up on all that I missed

So no news on my application at all but I have a good feeling that I will hear something soon

Nev my girl....the promise to go to the Kingston office is still there. I will go and make some noise....not just for you but for all that are waiting. I go pass there at least twice a week and believe me I'm tempted too

Love it Frankfield, that is so true! Life isn't a always a fairy tale and your story is a good reminder of it. In all things there are bitter and sweet moments, we always have to put efforts in every aspects of our lives, love to be the top first priority on the list, because that's what's driving us farther and helps us to remain strong when going through rough patches.

Thanks for your offer to visit KG...that still makes me laugh...I can imagine you walking into the high commission and demanding some answers...and ultimately having your hubby drag you out!!!

Hopefully my hubby and I don't have too much longer to wait...we must be/have to be nearing the end of this process... *sigh*

Everyday that passes without hearing from Kingston feels like forever...it wasn't so bad at the one year mark but the last three to six months have been very hard.

Not according to the spreadsheet.

Please keep in mind that the people on this forum represent less than 5% of all the applications in Kingston. It is entirely possible that applicants from 2013 are landing and we're not aware of it because they are not on this forum.

Have you received sponsorship approval? If you have, congratulations, and please let us know the date so Kadi can update the spreadsheet.

Good morning all! Wow you all did some chatting last night i see! Can't believe we are halfway thru September already! One more week until I hit 19 months in this proces.....never did I ever believe when I started this that it would take soooo long.....true I knew I had a harder application then most but still never thought it would take so long......i guess we all just hope and believe that we are going to be one of the short ones but when it doesn't happen it is soooo depressing but God has a plan for all of us and if this is Gods plan then so be it!
I truly feel that things are going to start to happen in Kingston for all of us between now and November....(i know it seems like a long time!) We have come this far what is another couple of months right. Hold the faith, especially Nev, ChildofGod, Daddysgirl, Maddants, Rockstone,Mismine,jamaicanfellinlovewithCan,dlmo we are all the first half of 2012 still waiting but our time is soon coming....they can't keep us apart from our spouses forever! (that is true for everyone here!)

your welcome! Believe me i know this process can break u down sometimes, especially not knowing anything, at least I have a bit of progress on my application but I totally feel for you's that don't have any progress at all that you know about! The not knowing is the hardest part but cling to the faith that between now and Christmas, many of us will be reunited with our spouses again. I believe this totally and it truly isn't that far off considering how far we have come!

Hi C&T, well now that I'm thinking of it, my hubby got a receipt from the doctor that I join with the other documents in our application as a proof of payment and date of exams, but no additional form to fill out by the applicant. That a big plus, because there is more paperwork that anybody could wish for, I got headaches few times :-\ So glad that it's done and over with!!! Didn't had you my dear KG FAM at that time :-*

Hi cafelatte, great, that is exactly the paper you need! It is like a "receipt" from the Dr. (you are correct - no additional form in the application package) and it usually has a number on it so they can match the e-file to the hard copy. Yes a big sigh of relief when the paperwork is finally done. Blessings.

Good MOrning Everyone! Guess what I woke up to this morning... SNOW! lol our first snow fall of the year. I called hubby and told him and asked if he still wanted to come lol he said Maybe lol I know it wont stay but there is still lots to follow bye bye summer/fall

Today is the day. Hubby is still in kingston he is going to try to call DHL for a drop off there instead of St.Mary. I will be pretty pissed if I dont find out today. just saying I have been waiting since thursday last week and feels like forever.
