Good afternoon everyone

I hope all is well with everyone and that there has been good news coming out of Kingston.
As for me life has been great these last few weeks wow its amazing how things came together and how it feels as if my husband has always been here with me. I pray that all of you get this feeling of completeness. I pray for one and all here especially those who have been waiting on what seems like forever for this process to come to a close.
As for me I have been a busy beaver trying to tie up loose ends before I leave for my trip to Jamaica, it's funny I thought once my husband was through Jamaica would not see my butt for a bit however life threw me a curve ball and things with the adoption is going quickly than anticipated so off to JA I go. I will be leaving next week my plans is to be back by the end of September with my little family. I will check in from time to time . God bless you all and thank you all so much for your support during our immigration process. This forum is filled with a lot of warm friendly helpful people and God will eternally bless all of you. I will check in from time to time.

Nice to hear from you Yolo; and happy to know everything has fallen into place. All the best with the trip and I do pray that your family is complete after your trip.

Hi everyone, it has been a whirlwind, i am in JA, returning in 2 weeks with hubby, dont have a computer, but visiting a friend who's son lent me his laptop, see the time, lol, only time i can tear him away from it. Anyhoo, Ms Neveah, listen to me, your time is coming real soon, believe that, use us as your yardstick! 23 long long months and it does not matter now, all that matters is we are together. Hold strong. It will happen, soon too, you are right near the end of the journey, and this is the time your patience will wear thin, at the end i remember saying to God, i give up, i just cant stress no more, and couple weeks after that we got called for the PP, so throw it to God or the higher power that you believe in.

Chickie72, Maddants and all the early 2012 still waiting, just be strong and hold on, it will happen for you! Take care folks and the good thing is the forum family is here for you to strengthen you when you feel weak.

Will give you my landing story in 2. something weeks. as i wont have access to a computer after this, we are heading to the hills of St Mary, this morning, Lord, coconut water and jerk chicken is all i have been living on. and not to mention the tastee patties

hey there my friend. have fun while it last in jamaica with you and hubby because hubby will be with you when you leave. im so happy that everything is finally over with this immigration process for you and hubby will be in canada when you. i cant wait to hear the landing story lol.....dont worry sis i know that im holding very strong and im going to ride out this long process until the brake drop off. I always say that God is not going to sell me short at all....he will get me thru the long waiting period that is stressing everyone that is going thru this same process as me.

Hey there girl! Glad you were able to stop in and catch us all up! Thank you for thinking of all us old timers here still waiting. Enjoy your time and JA and we still want that landing story because it will be so different then everyone elses, usually we are waiting for our hubbies at the airport instead of flying home with them!

LOL. That's ok Miss Nev. I know you can't name everyone and I don't post all t he time but I do try to catch up most time. I just really wish that TODAY IS YOUR DAY !!! You're one of those persons that if I were to ever get thru before you, I'd be inclined to feel really bad and if it were ever possible to make a query I would on your behalf!!! The question I'd be asking is "How come?" But we know in everything God knows best as right now he's pruning you for greater joy ahead. Keep the prayers going as he's hearing you.

Good morning everyone. Glad that I have a corner office where not too many people walk by as I am sitting here bawling my eyes out reading your post Nev! And all the posts of everyone after that. You hit the nail on the head of all our feelings here, we love our family and friends but they truly can't relate to what we are going thru and really how do we answer them when they all ask "when is your hubby coming home? Any news yet on your hubby?" We can't answer what we don't know either.
This process is long and hard and I agree that we don't hate the person that gets thru before us but we do hate the process, especially when they try to tell us they process them in order of receipt which is pure bs.......if it was that way then our spreadsheet would be all green above and not scattered green everywhere!
Truly I believe for anyone new here, you have to believe you will be here for a year at least......if you get thru before that then it is a blessing, but if you want to make your process less stressful then shot for a year time line.......expecting something in 5 months is just setting yourself up for depression, stress and anger when that 5th month go by and you don't hear anything.(Believe me! I know this for a fact) At the time that Nev, Maddants, DG and myself applied, our sponsorship was 55 days and it slowly increased to 91 days eventually so most of us didn't even get our sponsorship approval until June after applying in Feb & March. Now people are getting approved in a month time!

Faith is what will truly get you through this. If you believe in God then put everything into God's hands and he will send your hubby home when it is your time! If you don't believe in God, at least have faith in the fact that this process has to end one day and your hubby will be home no matter what!

Come on Kingston, last week of the month, clear up some files today please!

Good afternoon forum family what warm but sticky weather were having. Nice to see the sun trying to peak through. For the newbies chickie is right it sure will be a long process and journey ahead set yourself up for a year. I set myself till feb 2014 with Gods blessing I hope it will happen that is 15 months for me but who knows.

That's a realistic timeline O&O and the best thing is you get to spend six glorious months in JA with your hubby!!!! I truly hope you get to return to Canada together.
