I think my situation is a little different than most on here. I was planning to move down to Jamaica with my husband. I lived down there for just over a year coming back only to satisfy the jamaican immigration because they only allow you to stay 6 months at the most. Circumstances changed and we decided that for now Canada is our best choice for us. During our time down there we have aquired two dogs, im afraid that when my husband leaves it will break their Hearts. One minor problem with bringing them. One of our dogs has a pitbull "look" but definitely isn't pure bread. Anyone know anything or who to contact to be able to bring my puppies home with my husband. He will be fixed at the time of transport. I don't have anyone I can leave them with when my husband comes. No one will care for them like we do.
Any suggestions will be helpful.

I have a question for anyone that has been to JA before. Is it possible for you to get money out of your Canadian bank account while down in JA? I won't be in a tourist section and my husband said there is no way for me to get it. I know they have Scotia banks down there but my bank is TD Canada trust.

Yes it is my husband told his bank he is coming to Jamaica and he get the money from NCB in Jamaican at the best exchanged rate.

i was wondering.......when i come to canada and open a bank account there....which i going to get a scotia account when i get there.. i want to know is you can just transfer money from one account to the next out here in jamaica so when i come to back to jamaica i will have money to spend........or i cant do it like that.........i have a scotia bank account out here in jamaica so im wonder if that can work

It is a wire tranfer and works with any bank you wanna wire money to once you have an account.

Thanks to everyone for the congrats, it was a really awesome wedding day and I am so happy to finally be married.....believe me, that has been a crazy long process being that I had to get divorced back home first! Hoping that the marriage certificate doesn't take too long to get - supposed to be in hubby's hands by Friday of this week!

Oh I know what you mean my hubby had to get a divorce too and we thought it was gonna take forever. Thank goodness it was done without a lawyer and took on 31days. yeah

The name Casera Credit Union and his bank knows he come comes here every year. So he gets a bank card and draws money from National Commercial Bank (NCB) he said he took it from checking and savings account. But the NCB gives him the best rate. He said he can get money from any bank in Jamaica with his card.
