Hey everyone, my MP just called me and told me he's keeping the pressure on Kingston to finish what they're doing and send my hubby home. My MP's awesome, and it was actually my MP and not an assistant. I'm getting so hyped right now...don't know what to do with myself...should I book the flight...should I just keep myself quiet...

No still says application received on September 25, 2012 but I got a email in Dec saying it was in process then nothing since. His medical will be up the first week in April ugh! I just emailed my MP and they are suppose to start working on it today because I have been emailing Kingston since Feb 15 and havent heard anything yet. my MP office said they would get back to me by the end of the week.

If I were you I'd get my hubby to redo his medical nd police kingston is hard to go by. I emailed KGN in feb my application was in process who knows how long it stays in that stage.

wow I would just really like to say that I love this forum and everyone who uses it. It is nice to have people who understand just what you are going through. I some times feel like I am annoying my family and friends here with the same words that I just want to be together already. but to have all your support is amazing feeling. it will soon come I know

Sometimes you can't even go by the status too because it is totally dependent on the VO and if they keep it up-to-date. Keep on your MP and on Kingston.

Carm, I agree 100% with Oneandonly. I've learned the hard way that sometimes waiting for Kingston when you know something has expired, only prolongs your process. If there is any way hubby can be prepped and ready next month to redo the medical and police clearance and submit it that will save you time in the long run.

I will. The great thing is I have friends who can write letters for me who witness my side of our relationship like my MLA and My mayor I am thinking it might be helpful. FIngers crossed

I am just 2 weeks behind you in the sence of when the application was transfered I am hoping that we are soon because I would love to say my man is coming home. its been a stressful 2 weeks and now he gave himself a ulcer . Hey Carm - hubby and I have been together 4 years. Our 1 year anniversary is coming up on March 17...Hubby only has 1 child (our son together) so therefore we had no dependents on our application. Our application went to in process (shown on e-cas) on February 4th.

Hang in there girl...it seems KG is on a mission to clear out our forum. Your turn is right around the corner....

So sorry to hear about your hubby...tell him, heads up, he will be in your arms before he knows it!

Mine were the same way when I left to go down for the wedding. Once you get there all will be okay

Where are you getting married? When is the wedding?

Getting married in St Ann's Bay at the registry office, nothing fancy yet. March 28th....Flying down on the 27th, home on the 31st - way to short, but I go every 6 weeks and my next trip is in May for a big family wedding and I will be there for 2 weeks, which I am really excited about! My kids finally get to meet him in person in May!
