chickie72 said:Ok question for the panel of experts lol I know when I do my income taxes this year, that I will have to claim married for last year but my hubby doesn't have an income so what will happen then? Can I use the SIN that he was given for the work permit they gave him while he was up here on refugee?
you need to write a letter - stating that his he has no sin therefore mark his sin # as : 000 000 000 SEND THOSE LETTERS IN ADVANCE TO CTC - CRA - OCT - and whatever else thats out there to let them know whats up!!! (so they can have their *censored word* in order without putting stuff outta order!!)
You need to declare (also in the letter!!!) that he has ZERO WORLD income - and that though he is your husband he resides in Jamaica, where he IS unemployed, and you are in the midst of sponsoring him!!!
I DID declare my hussy lst year, but because i hadnt notified CRA for the month we got married?? they had withheld anything, until they could figure out if I owed them anything - but because HE HAD zero world income, well nothing changed.
NOW my hubby has a sin but i need to be careful, cause he just got here, SO once again i need to write a detailed letters explaining he had ZERO WORLD INCOME for 2012, and now YES he has a sin, but nothing earned to declare.
at first even though i explained this to the tax agent, etc...it took me a few months before *censored word* went back to normal - so ill be making extra sure this year they dont mess up or put holds on any little i still may be entitled too...cause once he starts working its a wrap i aint ever gonna see *censored word* for CRA eva LOL (except for annual tax returns of course)
AND KEEP COPIES OF YOUR BLOODCLEET LETTERS!!!!! then follow up with them after uve filed ur taxes to ensure letter has been received, and that everything is clear as you don't want any kinda of delays or confusion where your tax credits are concerned!!!
I had to sent out those letters TWICE!!!! cause they kept sending me those letters saying: please send us 'such n such info' as your entitlements are in question, etc.......
stay on toppa these ppl!!!!!!
MI NUH ROMP WID MI MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO (no matter how little - everything cent serves a purpose!!!!!)
