Hey everyone ...I'm new to the thread but have been reading up for months for Info on everyone's journeys with their sponserships.
My question....Anyone know if its gonna be a huge wait if my hubby was here on a work permit for a year and had a denied refugee claim before leaving Canada....we had our application in 4 months before he left and he abided by all CBSA orders..
I am hoping I'm not in for the 17 month wait !

I sent an additional 150+ pages to Kingston using the case specific enquiry email address. Do you have it? Remember attachments can only be 3.5 MB. Because mine was wayyyyyyyyyy over that amount so I broke it down into seperate emails and attachments. I'm sure I was really popular when they received several emails from me... As a side note: my MP's office confirmed with Kingston that they received it.

That happened to me once when trying to send a CSE to Kingston almost a year ago now. I told my MP about it who said she needed to inform Kingston ASAP. I did send a CSE a few months later with no problems and of course many here since then have sent them successfully. Inform your MP so they can rectify it quickly for you.

my info so far:
we sent our application june 2012 was received june 23 and approved with desicion made for me as a sponser in mississauga by aug 23 and sent to kingston ..
havent heard a thing more and the CIC status for his PR app still says application received and medicals received. I have sent 3 faxes and 3 emails asking for more info on our application with no response from KG embasssy...

...after reading on here i assume thats normal! but i just starting to wonder if the history of my husbands stay in canada will most likley cause delays in the process. ACR letters and all that stuff he submitted his police check from down there and faxed it before they requested it to stay ahead of the game. still no reply or updates on the CIC site since Dec 6 2012

seems like forever we been apart as i am 30 weeks pregnant and he had to leave me October 1 2012

i really need him back to see his son be born...but thats just wishful thinking at this point i guess!!

well he went to get the international background check and fingerprints checks completed as soon as he returned to JA in october thinking we was suppose to include it in the original package we sent off in june...so he got his record and faxed it to the embassy in october
was that supposed to be requested before we sent it?
